One of the most authentic Szechuan food I have tasted in Vancouver. The spicy pig ear is my favorite
I don't know if the stuff I got was wrong, but I ordered spicy wonton, and now I completely regret that decision. The dumplings were way too salty, and something left a coating on my tongue making the rest of the dumplings almost unedible. First time even giving a 2 star, but for 10 dollars I feel like I just threw away my money :/
The spicy wontons were really good, we ended up ordering two orders. Make sure to mix the sauce in very well. We also orders the spicy chicken, there wasn't many decent pieces of chicken, alot of neck bones with very little meat. The pig ears were okay, nothing special.
On the official Dunpling Richmond trail, the chives dumplings were home made and tasty, fresh. The spicy sauce that is added really isn't hot, but adds quite a bit of flavour, I would recommend getting that option.
VERY TASTY SPICY FOOD IN THIS PLACE ! I GUESS THE OWNER PROBABLY FROM SICHUAN. ONE ANCIENT CHINESE ACCOUNT DECLARED THAT THE “PEOPLE OF SICHUAN UPHOLD GOOD FLAVOR AND THEY ARE FOND-OF HOT AND SPICY TASTE ." ... SICHUAN CUISINES IS COMPOSED OF SEVEN BASIC FLAVORS : SOUR PUNGENT , HOT , SWEET, BITTER, AROMATIC, AND SALTY!
This place is ok, a tad expensive for what they serve. I ordered the hot pot, the flavours were decent, and meet up to stabdard expectations of hot pot flavours, however i was surprised at the amount of cauliflower and zuchinni they put into hot pot. Very little meat and just one shrimp!!! Ive eaten far better take out hotpot!
I used to love ordering the spicy wonton from here, but I noticed that their quality has gone done while the prices have gone up. The meat filling looks more like a meat sponge. Not juicy like it used to be. Such a disappointment.
