Symmetry Massage Therapy

I have been a patient since day one and can't say enough good things about Kathy Zink. She is definitely a great massage therapist and is very nice and personable. In my experience they will always listen to you if you express that the pressure is to hard or soft, it's usually the first question asked at the beginning of your massage and at any time during you can let them know that it's to much or too little. As it is impossible for a therapist to read your mind :

Symmetry is by far the best massage therapy clinic in Winnipeg. I have been a client for over 6 years and haven't found a better clinic. Don't listen to the other review. He obviously did not articulate to the therapist what he was feeling at the moment. My experience has always been that the therapist will be checking in with you asking if the pressure is OK, no answer, no change. And if I have ever indicated that it was too much they had zero problems pulling back. Communication is what insures a great massage. Also, drinking water after a massage is super important! Flushing things out to prevent bruising, which can happen even during a relaxation massage. I will be back and recommend all my friends there regularly. Also if you click onto John Cares profile all his postings are complaints about massage. Sigh.

Had a deep tissue massage this morning with Kathy Zink, who absolutely has “healing hands”... my aching back muscles disappeared and at the end of my hour, I was totally relaxed. I’ve had regular massages with Kathy for more than 7 years and would highly recommend.

If you like extreme deep tissue massage this is the place for you. Most of the Therapist here are ex-athletes/dancers. So they are all into really really deep massage. I like some deep massage, but I also like a mixture of relaxation massage. Massage should feel good. I told the Therapist this is what I wanted at the start of our session. All I got was extreme deep massage. I complained and she would lighten up for minute or so and then she was back to drilling her thumbs into me as hard as she could. I was covered in bruises the next day. My wife asked me what the hell was going on? I will not be back!
