Maria is the best! I get regular Brazilian, underarm and leg sugaring. I would never go back to wax after being sugared by Maria. She is fast and efficient, friendly and professional. I have consistently gone back to Maria for years, her Brazilians are as painless as possible. She is very skilled, she gets all the hair off from the roots - meaning no breakage, which means no ingrown hair. Smooth results last for weeks and the hair grows back softer and finer each time. She makes you feel very comfortable, each session is a pleasant conversation, so it's all over before you know it. Prices are very reasonable, and the location is convenient. Free parking is available right on Corydon, or nearby side streets.
Went here for a Brazilian and Maria did an amazing job with sugaring! She was very thorough, kind and approachable. We had a nice conversation throughout the service regarding aesthetics and I discovered that she’s been in practice for around 16 years! All the staff was very friendly as well. I’m very glad I chose to get my first Brazilian with her and I definitely recommend her services.

I'm a man going for my first manicure with my wife to deal with hang nails. What a disappointment. Manicure was done in about 15 minutes while my wife's pedicure took close to an hour. $50 for 15 minutes, no massage, no scrub. My wife insists that this was an overpriced and underperformed service, so maybe I'll try another in the future, but definitely not here.
My mom and I got massage and facial by two or their technicians yesterday. Overall, it’s not bad, but also not great so wouldn’t go back again. ENVIRONMENT: The space feels very small, especially the room. I feel the esthetician doesn’t have enough space to move around the bed while giving me massage. The room doesn’t have any windows. Also, I think the music was played through a phone, the sound quality isn’t nice. But overall it’s clean. COMMUNICATION: I called to book, and the person miss spelled my name so I didn’t receive email confirmation. I also asked if my mom and I can be treated at the same time same room, she said yes. But she didn’t pick up the phrase “same room” so when we arrive we were told that that’s not an option. Before we get started, my esthetician asked me if I’m getting a massage or a facial. I was confused as I booked for both. But it was soon clear that the person who booked our services didn’t know how to use the system. Lastly when I was going to pay my last was spelled wrong again. Not big deals but these small negative things add up and have a compound effect on our first impression. SERVICE: The actual facial and massage are okay. Not great compare to my experience at other places. The mask was very dry. Some products gave me burning sensations but I have sensitive skin. All products have fragrances. Our services are at a holiday discount $79 for both facial and massage, 64%off. I would never pay the original price for this kind of service. The process was very standard - cleanser, mask, extraction, mask, moisturize, and sunscreen. It feels outdated. I started at the same time with my mom but I waited 12mins for her, not sure why the time difference. Lastly, we waited 10 mins past our booking time and that’s because I asked. I don’t know how long we would have waited if I didn’t ask. ONLINE INTERACTION: The website was not great, hard to read fonts and colours. I couldn’t find the service I want to book through their online booking platform, and the online booking menu’s spelling is a mixture or all caps and capitalized. FINAL THOUGHTS: Really, nothing was bad. But also nothing was great. I came here expecting I’m getting a deal and a $200 experience but everything feels mediocre. If I knew this is the experience I would have just paid $200 to get a true $200 experience. SUGGESTIONS: Invest in small places to make sure that the customers get a seamless, nice experience end to end. Clean up the websites and make sure the spellings and online booking platforms are polished. Make sure the person who answers the phone speaks English very well, is not in a rush, and knows how to use the online system or write notes for others Invest in better speakers in the room. Invest in better lighting in the room, don’t use harsh cool lighting, there’s nothing relaxing about that. Make sure you greet every customers coming in and take note of their booking time and make sure they get their services or an explanation when it’s the time.
Maria is the absolute best! Been a client for over a year now and I have always had the best service with Maria, I get my Brazilian and underarm sugaring with her and she always does a very clean job!
This was the worst place we have ever been to! I dropped off my partner to this place and he was traumatized when he got out. We BEG YOU not to go to this place. On the phone the owner told us a different price and when my partner went there he was not discussed regarding the price at all and he was taken to a room for the session. After he was done, the owner told him something super overpriced that my partner was literally shocked. Also, according to the invoice, they charged him 12% tax but when my partner insisted of getting the invoice they told him it would be sent later, they then said "oh we were supposed to charge 5% tax, not 12%" we have the evidence of the invoice. Then my partner asked them to reimburse it which they did the 7% of the tax. IMAGINE, they don't even know how to calculate stuff, my partner waited at least 10-15 minutes there until they figured it out, as somehow, their "system" wasn't working. BUT IMAGINE, if my partner didn't insist, they would probably charge 12% tax, instead of 5. Also, during the session, the owner kept saying "ohh I am super tired, ohhh I am sweaty, ohhh I am tired, I worked so much" to give a message to my partner that she worked A LOT. My partner told me that he knew something was coming after that subtle message. When my partner called them out that they told him a different price over the phone then the owner kept saying "oh that was only one part of your body." which is absolutely a lie because my partner asked them the total price on the phone. They ABSOLUTELY lost our business and the business of friends and loved ones. We will NEVER do business with this place. I beg you not to do either. If you do even, PLEASE negotiate everything in advance as everything is super overpriced. There are great places to go to in Winnipeg trust us. RESPOND TO THE OWNER'S MESSAGE: You told us that you could do the shaving and asked us to do our best before my partner came over. Also, the hands were NOT done which is a LIE, neck was NOT done which is a LIE! pictures can be sent! You have already charged more than double price than you had told us anyway! We are super disappointed.
Do research! Went for microblading beginning of March. I should have done waaaay more research. The technician didn't speak English very well, 1st red flag. I told her 5 or 6 times I didn't want big brows, just a LITTLE BIT fuller. It seemed to take forever to start, like she didn't know what she was doing. Should have gone with my gut feeling and walked out LESSON LEARNED. I cried after I got back to my car after the 2nd session in April 1st session there wasnt much microblading done as its a 2 step processbecause I literally had cookie monster eyebrows that were 5 times the size of my natural ones and a million times bigger and thicker than the 1st session... not at all what I was expecting. She totally did what SHE wanted me to have, and not at all what I asked for. OH and she shaved off half my brows because the ones she did, are above the tail ends of my natural brows.... WONDERFUL, not. I contacted the place by email about 2 weeks after hoping the brows would "settle" about how unsatisfied I was to be told by the owner, Maria, they do removal at $150 a session, maybe needing multiple sessions and that i can book online... excuse me? So, now I have to pay more to get rid of them? To this day I absolutely hate them and am now going to be doing laser tattoo removal to get rid of these hideous brows. Oh, and the one brow is all botched and looks like it wasn't even filled in propery - pretty sure theres going to be scarring because of it. 100% regret this procedure, at this place
Horrible place the owner pretends that clients come first but her services are 1 star. As for the owner/operator this lady treats people all sweet to their face but talks about them behind their back. Horrible businessman I wouldn’t send my girlfriend back to this place ever again. The way she treats her staff is like watching Trudeau enforce vax mandates. No one likes a Dictator.
