Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

The dining room in the Harveys was filthy, the cashier "Shay" was too busy huffing at us to treat us w respect. Litterly spoke to us w gritted teeth. She was loud, arrogant, and clearly didn't want to be here and made it known to all around. The mopping was more important to her than serving the customers. Because the staff are too busy yacking and co.plaining that they had to be here the garnisher gave away fries through the drive through to the wrong customer thus having to duplicate the order for the correct customer. So when we finally received all of our order it was 20 mins be a use there were no fries left and they were bickering over having to replace them. Ridiculous! Worst Service ever received in a Harvey's. They should be ashamed.

Always Fast & Tasty! Harveys was full. Had to eat in our car. Glad it was Sunny today! Don't order Hot Tea. Mother Parkers is Horrible.

I always enjoy my visits to Swiss Chalet especially the one in Tillsonburg. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is always good & is ready quickly.

I suggest that if you have a gluten allergy or sensitivity then DO NOT eat here. I was here on the weekend and they told me that my food was 'absolutely gluten free'. Well after I ate my meal I started feeling terrible and didn't know why since apparently I hadn't eaten anything containing gluten. Later a friend of mine, that used to work in their kitchen, told me all of their food gets contaminated, the fries get fried in the same oil as everything else, flour is an ingredient in the one side I had ect. That doesn't sound gluten free to me. They should not be telling people that it's gluten free when it's clearly not, I had a terrible experience and will not encourage others to eat here. Maybe they don't think having a gluten allergy is serious but I suggest that they get educated on it for those of us that can't handle even a little bit of it.
