Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

Ashley was a wonderful server. She was so natural and her customer service was excellent. I wish I could have tipped her more so I want to make sure that I tell you here she was phenomenal! As was the atmosphere and the food!
Sorry i forgot to take picture of my 2 legs meal.nOne of the legs was a bit dry but Kylie the server offered to replace it. I refused but she still brought one for me to go!nI picked mashed potatoes but next time I will get a salad or a baked potato.nVery good service.nI will come back next time I am in town.nI would Iike to thank Kylie for the amazing service
Talk about amazing service and staff!! OmgnI didn't get my servers name but she had blonde hair in a pony tail and was approximately 5ft tall.nShe was incredibly friendly and helpful!nI remembered her smile and service enough to make this review. Because the appetizer was not good.nGood job young lady. :
Ordered in person at the New Glasgow takeout counter past weekend. Unexpectedly with the forecast upcoming storm they were just slammed with orders. As many as 11 people waiting in the quite small takeout area. To their credit the crew was hustling to keep up. The young lady that attended the counter was very pleasant and handled her tasks very well. About 30 minute wait before I was able to leave with my two birthday dinners. A 10 minute drive home found the fries were nearly cold so a quick reheat was required. Once up to temp the food was quite tasty and hit the spot. All in all satisfied considering this bump in activity not at all predictable or the norm.
Ashley is such a great waitress, always friendly and kind. We are happy with our food, as long as we ask for the fries to be cooked well, which Ashley knows by heart now!! Such a pleasure to stop as Swiss Chalet for a meal!
