Sweet Queen is a great family-diner located in Nanton, Alberta. The menu features comforting standby's including burgers, sandwiches and various fried treats. On this visit, I was tempted by the large menu of burgers (which come in single, double and triple patty options), but ended up going with a classic clubhouse sandwich. The sandwich came piled high with deli meat, fresh cooked bacon, real cheese, crisp lettuce and fresh tomato all on three slices of thick cut white bread. Side options included fries and tator tots; not having many opportunities to have tots, these fried lovelies were my first choice. The restaurant is cozy with fewer than 20 tables. Service was friendly and quick. Here, you order and pay at the counter and then your food is brought over to your table when ready.

Such a family friendly restaurant. Quaint mom and pop shop with really good food at an affordable price! Always go here when passing through!
