The buffet was a good and filling meal for $15.95. There was rice that was dry around the edge, so you took from the middle of the pan. Then we chatted with Ray, the new owner of 6 months. He is the cook and waiter. He can't find people to work, so he has to do it himself. A hard working, entrepreneur, we need to support our local businesses.
First time here since ownership changed. The food was great, hot and sour soup was perfect. Ginger beef was tender and tasty. The salt and pepper chicken was different from what I was expecting but the taste was great. Food came out fast and the staff were very friendly. No issues at all and will return.
Perfect place. 3/5 stars! In Nanton, I didn’t expect any less, but wouldn’t expect any better. Had a lot of fun placing bets on when that sagging ceiling tile would fall on the buffet table. I lost, and the tile is still up there. Ginger beef was a little different than I am used to and was great. The broccoli and beef was fantastic!
Staff are always pleasant and attentive. Food is hot and fresh , good variety of dishes. Sesame chicken is addictive.
Terribly disappointing- don’t waste your money Chicken chow mein- noodles came dry & separate from what was assumed to be a sauce….without chicken Lemon chicken was very over done- crunchy and oil saturated Dumplings tasted awful Chop suey tasted more like coleslaw Not one good thing to say We didn’t finish the meal- $95 worth of food in the garbage
Dinner Buffett was $16 + drink no refills on pop Good selection of food. Not any better than any other Chinese food restaurant. It was good for a quick stop after driving from USA up to Calgary. But I don't think I'll be back.
I understand the food cost is high so restaurant tries to cut down the wastage, however all trays are most empty except fry rice and noodle, not appealing Selection is limited, food is dry or runs out I like the taste, the service is OK, I will not come back

Got a menu in the mail, and me and my wife livye Chinese food, so thought we would go give it a try. The food was horrible, I have never had bad Chinese food before, so this was the first. The ginger chicken was pretty much burnt, the egg rolls was the same, the Shanghai noodles tasted like it was rotten, or had sauerkraut in it, we ended up throwing our whole order out. Very disappointing.
My husband and I wanted to try a new place , thinking it would be pretty good. We were so wrong, the food was way over cooked to the point the food was not edible. We had to throw it out and will not be ordering from them again.
