Sweet Mahal

Plenty of food options to select from menu but really disorganised and no customer service at all. First of all no one bothers to come to your table for menu or water. After waiting, a girl just came without saying anything, placed 2 half filled water glasses and went away which was really weird. The glasses got so many spots on them. Ordered food and it took ages to arrive and coming bit by bit. One of our item didn’t even get served. No one asked if we need anything or everything ok. Food was super-spicy and lacking flavours. Absolutely mess and zero customer service. Wouldn’t recommend anyone and obviously not gonna visit again.

Interior decoration were top notch as well as the deserts. We also tried some of the Veg options & these were quite delicious. From my point of view they could get more crowed by adding Halal & little bit spicy options !

My go to place for Chana Bhatura! The absolute best in the city! The food is quite good and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and quick, I never have to wait long to eat my food here!

Worst restaurant. I don't recommend anyone to go there. We were there at 2:15 pm. All tables were messy. Nobody paid attention to new customer. We need to tell them to clean the table. We waited sooo long for veg thali. We had toddler with us and too much hot outside, otherwise we might have gone somewhere else. Many times we asked waitress but she kept telling, "aa raha hai"... Many customers came after us and they were already eating and we were helpless with the toddler. I checked time on taken photos so I can say we got food on table at 3:15... After on hour . And food was also cold. No carrot halwa served in thali. Because it was not ready, that's what waitress said. I asked to bring gulabjamun instead of halwa. Then waitress got confused. And then said "halwa is almost ready." Anyway, the main point to write review is to warn other people about their worst service and food quality.

Great food, no complaints there - the wait staff were great as well. The service level at the counters needs some attention, the front area feels somewhat unorganized.... May be that's just me but that's what I felt. I noticed that they leave people hanging at the front cash and they go away to answer the phone, returning after what's seems for ever. My opinion, any phone in orders should be handled by some one at the back leaving front staff tobattentbto paying customers.

Don’t know what happen to sweet mehal. Went recently. The quality and flavor is poor. No longer what it used to be year ago. Also they took half an hour to make following dishes dahi bhalla smells bad I don’t know why and bhatura so cold.

I don’t literally like posting negative reviews online but it was my birthday and the experience was so unsatisfactory, first of all the cutlery wasn’t clean at all and then food was second rate. We ordered 3 to 4 dishes expecting at least they would have something good, unfortunately we didn’t like anything……………1 star is just for the ladies those who were serving us…..

Seems likely this is the only Indian sweet and restaurant shop in it’s vicinity. Hence you find a constant flow of customers to this shop either mainly for buying sweets or some for food in restaurant. We have tried several options here. Sweets are ok depends on which you buy. Takeout thali option is good for single and enough too. In house dining experience is okay as well as food too. So visualise this more as an stop gap restaurant for most of your immediate needs to be fulfilled at short notice and go. Enjoy.

01.07.2023 Saturday: Got Veggie Samosas. Not bad! I come here just for their Samosas which they serve all the time when I come by. Super hot, crispy, and tasty. Compliments well with the green and red sauce they provide 5/5 for the Samosas. Customer service I would say is 2/5. Alot of workers their working but they rarely are providing quality service. It's a fast paced environment and their speaking mainly amongst themselves. It's also apparent that their is a lack of communication between staff and customers at times. I've had days where I came simply to order Samosas. I see them ready made. I see two or three workers available, and yet still I'm waiting 15-20 minutes until they acknowledge me and take my order. Even after the order taken im still waiting 5 to 10 minutes for the samosas to be packaged and given to me. Not sure why their is that disconnect. The environment is overall pleasant. They play desi music in the evenings on TV. Sweets and food are presented nicely behind the glass. Overall, I'd say it's a recommend if you want to try piping hot Samosas from there. Yesterday evening I bought gulab jamun from this place and when reached home found out there was actually fungus on the the sweets . Terible experience ,will never go back there
