I bought a dozen assorted cupcakes for a small party at my place. The icing is hard, overly sweet and doesn't even cover the full top of the cupcake! The cake part tastes like those store bought cake boxes. The flavor was mediocre and it cost $27. I could've made better ones myself for less.

Super friendly and accommodating staff, Sweet B's treats are always a hit, the chocolate brownies are especially worth a visit. The owner goes above and beyond for weddings and event cakes too.

I've been lucky enough to get used to the amazing D'lish Cupcakes in Toronto, so my standards for cupcakes are very high and expectations tend to be low because most other places don't even come close to comparing (I Wanna Cupcake was a great contender, but they closed their Newmarket location- I guess Newmarket didn't recognize a good thing when they had it and prefers to buy crappy packaged supermarket cupcakes). We decided to give Sweet B's a try for a Mother's Day treat and not only were we not disappointed, we were thrilled to have found such delicious, moist, fresh cupcakes - that you can tell are made of high-quality ingredients - within such close proximity! We purchased one of each of the 6 flavours available (cookies 'n cream, vanilla, flakey, double chocolate, chocolate caramel, and birthday cake) and they were all really good (chocolate caramel, vanilla, double chocolate and cookies n cream were our favourites). I usually don't buy chocolate cupcakes as they don't seem to come out as good as the others - but both the cake and the frosting on Sweet B's chocolate cupcakes were amazing in flavour and texture. I am giving a 4 star rating because I think they could use a more generous helping of icing than they came with but am very impressed overall!!! Thanks for making our Mother's Day extra sweet!
