Real Canadian Superstore

I prefer to do most of my grocery shopping at this store in Midland. It has the widest selection with usually competitive prices. They do pricematch if you find a better price elsewhere. Aside from the usual at a grocery store they have a fresh made sushi bar, prepared meals, fresh seafood and butcher, housewares, pharmacy, large organic section, clothing, beer and wine, cooking classes, decorate your own tableware, some electronics and a mobile carrier stand. Things that could be better: I find the produce is not always the freshest, it can be difficult to find some items, their ethnic selections are limited and the aisles are often crowded (both with displays and with people).

Good store overall, but as everyone else has said; the staff are run off their feet. I went to customer service to let them know they needed to pull a certain mascara (I had purchased it and was now returning it) off the shelf that was on sale--as it had LONG since expired....Came back a week later, it was still there. Went to customer service and reported it AGAIN, and explained that that was very dangerous (hygienically) and she said she would personally pull it--a week later; it's still there. When a customer tells you something to help you with your customers, you should listen. The new PC Optimum program, has been a nightmare with this store. They took old cards, without connecting them to the new cards--and customers lost all of their points until they called customer service, which was insane for the 1st 2mths. Come on Superstore, get it together.

Nice and clean store. They are one of the few stores in this area that has nice produce. You need to watch their prices, as they can be higher than other stores.

Used to be great. Last year or so feeling nickel and dimed. Today actually saw the cashier collect the bag the man ahead of me did not use so it could be resold. Have put a loonie in carts now. Price matching limited to 4 items now. Not happy with changes I am seeing.

Good prices. All in one place shopping with pharmacy, housewares, clothing, deli, bakery, butcher, sushi, prepared meals and groceries. Large organic food selection plus a wine store.
