This is a fantastic spot in the Vernon area. The owners are friendly, helpful, and accommodating; the lakeside view is beautiful especially at night; and you can canoe and pedal-boat for free. Reasonable prices too. Would recommend to anyone RVing or tenting!

Wonderful experience! We had a big group stay here for August long weekend (Aug 4-7). We had a great experience.
Sites: We had 5 sites booked (12, 12a, 25, 26 and 26a). Sites 26 were tent sites and the rest were RV sites. Most of our party decided to set up 'tent city' on sites 26/26a. It was on a slope, but we made do. They didn't want to set up on gravel so we just parked our vehicles on those sites. We were lake front and it was great. Great view and so nice at night to look out onto the water. There were picnic tables all around. No fire pits though, but there was a fire ban on anyway. Sites 26 provided us with some privacy too, so we liked that a lot. We had one tent on site 12, along with their camper we rented on site 12 also. We had power (had to use extension cords to sites 26) and water so we were quite comfortable.
Camper: We rented their camper for my parents and small kids and it was clean, well stocked and comfortable. It was nice for them to have a bathroom in there. No shower in the camper, but the camp washrooms were super close.
Campground: The campground was super nice. WE loved the free use of the row boat, paddle boats, canoes. I wanted to try paddle boarding but we didn't have time. The kids really loved the boats though and there were free life jackets to use also. The washrooms were clean. Shower was $1 for 5 minutes. Which felt really long. I only ever needed $1 to shower fully, and I have long hair! Check in/out was easy. They even sell ice there which was cheaper than Safeway. FYI: There were a lot of wasps around (not anyone's fault of course), so I suggest bring some wasp traps? Not many mosquitoes though. Thank goodness.
Area: Vernon is nice. We went peach picking which was fun. Atlantis Waterslides was a few minutes away (you can see it from the campground). Lots to do and see.
Owners: They were great! Orville always came to see if we needed anything. They even helped us when we had an incident the day we left. Over and above. We are so thankful we found their campground. We'd love to stay here again if we're ever in Vernon.
All in all, great stay. Thanks Orville and Audrey!
