Fantastic sushi with many of options. California rolls taste great. Portion sizes are good and prices are fair. Also, the space is tidy. Strongly recommend.
We started our meal with the edamame, which were easy to open and seasoned well. We ended up getting the B5, a party tray with 52 pieces for 3-4 people. There were three of us, and we felt stuffed at the end. I really liked that the sashimi on the nigiri was longer than the rice ball. This meant each piece contained a little extra fish. The sushi all tasted pretty fresh. One thing to avoid is sitting near the entrance, as you'll be blasted by the cold or hot air depending on the weather. The restaurant is small, so it wouldn't hurt to reserve. They offer a cash discount, but only for take-out. Regardless, the price itself is on the cheaper end.
An absolute hidden gem!nnI stumbled across this sushi place when I was in the area and craving sushi, and it was a great decision. The restaurant itself is quite small, they do first come first serve dine in. Atmosphere wise, there was nothing special about it. It was a very ‘mom & pop’ restaurant vibe but don’t let the interior fool you as their food was amazing.nnI gave 3/5 for service as they weren’t that attentive, maybe because our table was tucked in a corner at the front of the restaurant? We did have to wave down the server for our order to be taken and to get the bill never checked up on us during our meal.nnWe ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box & Yakiniku Bulgogi Bento Box. The bento boxes come with green salad, vegetable tempura, gyoza, rice & miso soup so great deal for the portions as well! We also got the Spicy Salmon Roll & Salmon Sashimi, along with a Spicy California Handroll & Edamame. Now I can be quite picky about sushi places and the freshness of the fish… but I can say that I was blown away with how wonderful everything tasted & how fresh the fish was. Beef & salmon were well cooked, and the batter on the tempura was nice and light. Wowwww! Sushi Zuki is definitely a MUST TRY sushi place when you’re in the area. I guarantee they will not disappoint - I’ll be coming back again to try some of their other dishes like their Yuki Udon which comes on a sizzling plate.nnSome things to note:n- 10% off take-out order cash onlyn- Chip card only - no tap
always fresh when i go there, i never leave not full or disappointed. it’s a must try! it’s cheap and affordable especially for a datennaka california roll is where its at ;
Affordable sushi spot that gives huge portions. The sushi rolls were massive compared to any other places I’ve been to. The rolls were tasty and had more filling than rice to ratio. The sashimi pieces tasted fresh but I did wish they were cut thinner. The restaurant is quite small and would only be suitable for groups of 2-6. Overall I definitely recommend and will be going back
