Sushi California is definitely my go-to spot for sushi! The place itself is quite small for how popular it is, and to be honest, it’s not the most attractive restaurant inside or outside. It’s always full when I go. But honestly, it’s absolutely worth it because the food is just that good!nnThe portions are generous, the prices are fair, and everything tastes fresh and delicious. I usually start by sharing the fried shrimps—they’re big, crispy, and super tasty. For rolls, my absolute favorite is the Double Dynamite Roll I order it every single time!. I also really enjoy the Green Dragon Roll, and I’ve tried both the Malibu Roll and the Cowboy Roll, which are also delicious.nnAll of their sushi rolls are flavorful, original, and different. This spot never disappoints—it’s always my go-to sushi place!

The first time I ate sushi in my life was here and I can say that it left a very good impression on me because it was really delicious. I tried two models, the cowboy roll and the Chicago roll, and I really liked them. The staff was also very respectful and nice.
This sushi spot is spectacular Start with the miso soup, perfectly balanced and soothing before the main event. The Smoked Salmon, Rainbow, and Philadelphia rolls are my top three must-tries, each with its own standout flavor. If you still have room, the Cowboy roll is the perfect finisher. Don’t skip the salmon sushi pieces either—super fresh and melt-in-your-mouth. The staff are friendly, quick to recommend rolls, and make the experience even better. Beautiful presentation, fresh ingredients, and consistent flavor every time. Definitely my go-to sushi spot
The food was excellent, which is why I even bother coming back, especially for the great prices. It was the service that was horrendous. I called @8:03pm today, a Saturday evening, to place a take out order. Before the call ended, the server told me the cost & that it’d be ready to be picked up in 20mins. Knowing how busy they get, I decided to leave a bit later & arrived to pick up my placed order around 8:50pm, which would’ve given them an extra half hour to prepare it. Can someone please tell me why I had to wait an additional 30mins in the store, after paying, in order to receive the placed order?? — I got it around 9:20pm.nNot only was the service so terrible based on how off the estimated times were, but for the cherry on top, the front server had the audacity to demand a tip. Instead of just letting me go with my order, she insisted on tip & that’s when I had to sternly explain how unprofessional she was acting. When a manager was requested, it wasn’t addressed & with the time already wasted there, I decided to leave w/ a bitter mindset upon this place. I strongly urge the owners of this company to assess their wait staff, for it affects this restaurant’s overall review. I don’t think I’d come back anytime soon.nn**Tip comes as a result of good service. It is NOT mandatory.**
