Coming from Vancouver, I wouldn’t describe this place as spectacular, however, it’s pretty good. I had the Spicy Tuna Combo with the spicy Korean sauce on the side, as recommended by the server which I appreciate because I don’t enjoy when sauces overwhelms the dish, and the Tempura Appetizer a touch thick on the batter but still crunchy and cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the service provided by the friendly and welcoming staff and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. Would visit again if I had the opportunity
I have been here a couple times in the last month, once on my own and once with family. The service was excellent both times. The food is good and comes out hot. I love tempura, and this place did not disappoint. I had sushi and tempura shrimp and veggies on my first visit and it was very tasty. Second visit we had tempura and gyoza for appetizers. Both of those were very good. Main courses were pad taishrimp, two noodle dishes chicken and beef and teriyaki beef. I had the chicken noodle dish and it was good. Although I did find that it was a bit oily. All the dishes had lots of protein and veggies and were very generous servings- you could share one if you’ve had appetizers. They came out piping hot on hot cast plates - so watch yourself on those first several bites. We couldn’t finish all the food, so we were able to bring home enough for another meal. Sushi Yori is a place I’d go again, maybe try more of the sushi dishes. Normally a noise dish isn’t something I’d order, I wanted to try it on this last visit. Word was that the rest of my companions really enjoyed their meals. And they all commented on how good the service was. It’s not a fancy looking restaurant, but it is clean and well kept. Good amount of parking. Fast and friendly service. Good good Wheelchair accessibility: I think the only issue for those in wheelchairs would be opening the door to go down the hallway to the washrooms. You likely would need someone to open there hallway door.
My husband and I just moved to Prince George recently and the first thing we had to do was find a good sushi place. Sushi Yori was highly recommended by a friend so we gave it a try and were absolutely blown away! Delicious, fresh sushi and the waitress we had was wonderful! Would definitely dine here again for either take out or dine in!
Sushi Yori - a hidden gem at PG. Everything about sushi bar: the atmosphere, and tasty foods - very friendly staffs and they have amazing beautiful private dining room. - Foods 10 out of 10. We ordered seafood udon noodle and it come with a lot meats such as crabs, shrimps, octopus and veggies. they were all fresh, clean and oceany. The sushi was so fresh and delicious My favorite sushi place in PG! so far. They have a very large selection of dishes at fair prices. Definitely on par with many places we've been to in town. Highly recommend!
Best Sushi night ever! Sushi Yori . Great sushi: the rolls were amazing. I forgot their name lol but amazing crispy calamari and great spicy seafoods ramen. On top of this, great good vale for money!Food: 5/5
We have been doing take-out almost every Friday. The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious, with great presentation. THe staff are the friendliest in town, and not just serving friendly, but genuinely kind. I have to say, Sushi Yori is definitely the best sushi in town...in my opinion. I have had a lot of sushi from a lot of different places, including the high end and recommended places in the lower mainland and some other big cities. Sushi Yori holds it's own, and is definitely tough to beat. Highly recommend. My photo isn't the greatest, mostly because I know if I took the lids off I would eat it instead of getting a photo. We ordered 2x pan fried gyoza, spicy tuna roll, avacado roll, 2x yam tampura roll, beef roll, 2x chicken roll and miso soup. Delicious with great portion sizes not jumbo pieces like some places and not tiny like others. Adult portion sizes.
Sushi Yori is always amazing. I have been coming here for the past year and I love it every time. Crazy boy roll is really tasty. Also the ramen and pan fried noodles are top notch. Nothing but good things to say about this place. They were even able to recommend some good options for my friend who had a peanut allergyFood: 5/5
Fantastic sushi for being in northern BC. Their specials rolls are so tasty and awesome, very filling. I got my quota of sushi before I head more northern BC where it's hit or miss for Sushi. They even gave me a fresh strawberry with whip cream for a dessert on the house, very nice people. Plenty of parking outside.
I got a take out order, and the food quality was so fantastic!!Food: 5/5
I ordered $139.20 worth of sushi for a celebration, the food was packed up and ready on time and was absolutely delicious. Was given 30 packets of soy sauce I must say I don’t think they will ever fail to provide you with soy sauce.Food: 5/5
