Had a great time at this facility. The ambiance was very good. The Chef was very personable and prepared a great meal. Wait service was provided by Sharon. She was very attentive and was on top of keeping us supplied with requested drinks, as well as keeping us uncluttered of used stuff. We strongly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful experience enjoying Teppanyaki dishes here at Shogun with Chef Nook and Chef Kendy, strongly recommended in town. Great food and great people at service. Certainly makes our evening excellent. Well done Shogun team and keep up the good work folks Jasmine, Hari,Nitin, Sharon.Food: 5/5

First time here and was very impressed from start to finish. Meal was cooked in front of me and was absolutely delicious, I chose Dunburi sirloin and chicken and I wasn't disappointed. The servers were very friendly and accommodating as we're the chef's, if you are thinking about trying this restaurant go for it you will not regret it.
My friends kept raving about this place so I had to try it myself! Food was absolutely mouth watering yet generous in portions. I was very impressed with the Luke and Hari who took such great care of my group for the evening! I highly recommend treating yourself and your loved ones here for a fantastic time!
The food was incredible. The servic was outstanding. They accomodated a few special requests. It is always a special treat for us to go. The ginger dressing on the salad still is as delicious as it was 25 years ago.Food: 5/5

"The Exquisite Experience of Teppanyaki"... My closest five buddies and I celebrated my birthday at the Shogun Restaurant, Prince George. Being an enthusiast of fine foods and drinks, I really enjoyed the many different kinds of Japanese sake available at Shogun. Judging from the food, service, and ambiance, it's a lively Japanese restaurant. Nook, the chef at Shogun, entertained and engaged us with delicious Japanese combinations, and Hari, the server, was very responsive and attentive to our every need. The restaurant was pleasant, both in terms of cuisine and ambiance. Delighted with the drinks and food in Shogun...
I sat near the bar & kitchen, on the Winston's side. The servers were wonderful, attentive, and very polite. The prime rib had an amazing texture, it almost did not need to be chewed. Ask for extra au jus, the prime rib doesn't have much seasoning, flavor is relying on the au jus. That was the best cut of prime rib i have had in a long time, i did not waste more than a couple ounces very little fat to remove. The market vegetables were delicious, the mashed potatoes were ok.
We had a great night at Shogun. It was really fun to sit and watch the chef entertain and meet a bunch of new people at the same time. The food was fresh and outstanding. The service friendly without being obtrusive. Portions were generous so I was glad we brought a good appetite. The wasabi ice cream was well worth it. I always enjoy new and unique flavors and this ice cream is created just for Shogun so we had to try it. There were only two of us but this is a great venue for a large party or family evening. Next time I'm back I will definitely bring an entire contingent. Thanks for a memorable evening. Dietary restrictions: Can easily accommodate vegetarians. Kid-friendliness: Always entertaining for the whole family!
