100% one of my favorite sushi places to visit in the Durham area. The quality of the fish here is always exceptional and the price is great too! I really enjoy the atmosphere at this location which has nice tables/couches and ample amounts of space. My favorite dish here is the steamed custard buns and the creme glace custard which is rare to find at a sushi place. Overall great balance between price, quality and consistently delivery of that quality is rare to find at a restaurant. I'll continue to come back here!
We picked up a party tray yesterday Maki for three. It was amazing. So beautiful and fresh. Some of us don't eat raw fish so this tray was perfect for us. Sushi today has a lot more unique rolls than other places. My personal favorite is the yam roll. Totally recommend to get this if you are hosting or visiting friends
My friend and I visited Sushi Today and it was an amazing experience. They have varieties of food but they don’t have calamari and grilled octopus. Those are my favourites, but I don’t mind. The food were fresh and quick. It was really delicious and I enjoyed the food. My friend and I couldn’t finish it , so we paid $30+ extra. It was such a huge amount considering the fact that a dinner for one cost lesser than that. We paid about $100 in total plus tip. One of the servers was very considerate and nice. Overall, the experience was the nice. I would highly recommend. Environment: 8/10 Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Parking: 10/10
"All you can eat " menu. Order at table using tablet. My first time, ordered a few of my fav dishes. Some what dissatisfied with quality. Octopus was tuff to eat. Sushi rolls were ok, but lacked flavor. Though there are a ton of options, wasn't impressed. Service was just there to clear off plates, no interaction just ehh... so for me it's over priced for the quality
The sushi wasn't bad but from my experience I felt like they used too much rice on some of their items. Also just a heads up their buffet menu they do charge you for waste items so be awareFood: 3/5
The food and service was wonderful. Everything was fresh from the salads to sushi rolls. The only thing that would change it to 5 stars for me would be no charge for children under 2 yrs old like all of the other places I have taken my toddler to. They only charged $4.99 for my toddler, which is definitely a fair price if we are going to have to pay. Kid-friendliness: Chopsticks held together by elastics for children and jich chairs provided. Change table in washroom. Charge of $4.99 for children under 3 for lunch.
CHECK YOUR FOOD AND YOUR BILL Honestly I don’t know how to feel, any time I came here before it was fine didn’t have really any issues just at the price kept going up and up but last time I came in there was a big issue, there was a hair cooked into the food picture and on one of our dishes a bug came crawling off -have the video but doesn’t give the option to post we told them about this and all they did was give us a 13% discount…. Not to mention there’s been times where I have come here and they have either up charged us on food or when we have ordered something we didn’t received it and they still try to charge us for it…..
Well the service is fast, but I think that is what they want to get you out. This place was quite good. It is a very clinical looking place now. Unfriendly and well my wife and I no booze $83. So we won't be doing that again. I'd pay that for more friendly service and a nicer atmosphere. Food was a little overcooked as well frankly
Outstanding! Every item we ordered was top quality and delicious. Their chicken skewers are the best I have had anywhere. Tempura was light and so so good. Great valu for all you can eat.
If you love sushi, you are going to love this place. It’s all you can eat concept. You will be handed over tablet as you can see below and can order in as many items as you want and it will be served to your table. There is one specific section of creamy cheese sushi, I had never tried that before and totally enjoyed italthough it gets a little heavy because of cheese. There is also another section of veggie sushi in which we ordered sweet potato sushi which was also something new experience. And definitely there were million other options. Important thing to note is you cannot just order and not eat and waste food in all you can eat as if you waste the food, you might be charged for it. In terms of ambience, it was a normal one nothing so special about it. If you want booze along with food, this is not the place as they just have pop and juice options i was not aware of this and was a bummer for me. Communication is very rare however when we tried to do, it was little difficult - not sure they were not able to understand it or they were just not responsive with any yes/no’s or a head nod so that was really confusing and we had to repeat ourself. Other than that, it was a good experience
