Sushi Star Restaurant

Went for the dinner buffet and the service was really slow. Not a weekend or anything, dining room was full but not super busy. Waited at least half an hour to get 2 little orders of deep fried bananas for desert, which were tasty but not worth the 2+ hr dinner and mediocre service.

Terrible costumer service at the time. Had to wait over 40 minutes. We were told we only had to wait 25 minutes, then 5 minutes then another 20. Food was good, the vegetable tempura was just okay. Not a fan that they use eggplant as part of their vegetable tempura. The dipping sauce for the tempura wasn't very good. It was weak or really watered down, it didn't taste right. It's was mostly the costumer service that made me give a poor rating.

One of my favorite all you can eat sushi places. A good selection of sushi, and good prices for being in the northern interior. A tip for those ordering: have your whole table order on the same sheets - your food will come a lot faster!

They took for ever like they were trying to wait you out. It's all you can eat but there is a time limit. So if they don't bring your food in the allotted time you don't get everything you ordered.

2 stars because the sushi here is actually good. The service is so insanely bad you actually wait for Ashton Kutcher to come out from behind the beaded washroom “door” to tell you you’ve been punked. They will bring you the wrong food, they will tell you it’s what you ordered. They will forget food that you actually did order. If you call they’ll put you on a 5+ minute hold. When you pick up they’ll tell you a time, then they’ll make you wait longer. But the sushi is actually good.
