I chose to give this place 7 stars. Honestly the best sushi place in town. They just opened in September. But they got every detail perfected down to the miso soup. This place has the freshest and most delicious sushi I have had in a long time. And if you see my page you would know I have tried everything. This is the best place in Halifax right now by far.
A friend and I where pleasantly surprised to see a new sushi place had taken over one of our favourite locations. Let me tell you they did NOT disappoint! We both shared a plate of goyza and had two rolls each and we where stuffed. The deep fried California is the best I've ever had. My friend ordered the Maru Special roll and she said it's heaven in a roll, highly recommend! We will be back and with more friends! Pictures show the deep fried California Roll, green dragon Roll and the Maru Special Roll. The roll in the back of each picture is the spicy salmon roll. Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian rolls to pick from. Most had cream cheese so I didn't try them. Parking: Lots of free parking.
Best sushi place we’ve ever been to! Great service, nice interior and of course food. Will definitely go back. The owners were really sweet and welcoming. I would never have thought to experience such amazing Japanese food in HRM, honestly would be the best place in HRM. 100% our new go to restaurant.
