Great lunch place, quick service, delicious food and a delightful staff. Very happy to have found this lovely location. Great park even at lunch rush. Looking forward to making my way through the rest of the menu.
Clean, cozy place. Not the best Asian restaurant in the city but it sure is among the top ones. If you're craving for Korean & Japanese food, this place will satisfy you.
Fantastic food! Fresh well prepared dishes, service is impeccably friendly patient and willing to help. Flavors are well thought out. Definitely will return for more.
It was too hot to cook at home tonight so I thought we would go out and try something different. We decided to give Let's Ko a try. Quite honestly I am very torn on how to rate my experience there. If I could I would rate it as a 3.5/5 based on our experience but I will give the benefit of the doubt and round up to 4 stars. The restaurant was clean, and the people were very friendly. The menu looked good and had reasonable prices as well. This was our first time there so we were trying to figure out what we wanted to try. Our waitress was friendly but seemed quite impatient to take our order so it felt like we were being rushed. We ordered pan fried dumplings for an appetizer. I ordered a sushi platter and my wife ordered bibimbap. My daughter ordered the BBQ eel and Alaska roll combo. My dinner was served with Mizo soup, and a side salad which was fresh and had a mild flavour. Regarding the salad I received, it was almost like the sauce was out in the bowl first then the greens added on top. The dressing was really delicious but I could barely taste it until I got to the bottom of the salad. The Mizo soup was very tasty but there was very little tofu in it. What tofu was in it was very small pieces and not many of them or at least I didn't get many. I am not sure if it's the normal thing they do in this restaurant or not but we did not receive plates for the appetizer. We just picked straight off the platter and ate which I thought was quite interesting. The egg on my wife's bibimbap had small purpleish dots on the bottom of it when she flipped it over, and was well done which is normally served with a soft yolk. When she asked what the purple dots were, she was she was told it was colour from the food which was odd so she asked if she could have another egg over easy. The waitress returned with a sunny side up egg that was slightly undercooked i.e. the egg white was still a little gel like. The waitress advised us to let them know the next time, how she wanted her egg when she ordered. My wife orders bibimbap a lot and it's always been the same. Just a recommendation to the waitress, when you take an order and it has an egg on top, you might want to consider asking the customer how they want their egg on top cooked. The customer does not know how you cook it especially when it is their first time there. I will say the waitress was very attentive, and very pleasant. The restaurant was cozy and had a nice decor/atmosphere. Honestly, I think this restaurant has a lot of potential and we did feel welcomed there which was nice. I do have to admit that based on the reviews I read I was a little disappointed overall but I would still recommend giving this place a try as our experience could have been a one off. All of these factors considered I really struggled with this rating as I was very torn. Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: My daughter is 11 and there were other smaller children there while we were there. Parking: Lots of available parking which was nice. Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is on the bottom floor so easily accessible for anyone mobility impaired.
Very happy with the experience here. The new location is nice and large, parking is ample! The decor is nicely done, well spaced and modern interior. The food was great. We got some sushi, chicken and a black bean noodle dish. The sushi was perfectly proportioned with ample tuna which tasted perfect. The chicken was saucy and exceptionally crispy, the touch of multi colored sesame seeds was an excellent visual. The black bean noodle dish was well executed as well again great visual and greater taste. Serving sizes were also good for the price. For a place that covers both Japanese and Korean foods it does not disappoint. Price was fair for how good it all tastes. Overall highly recommend.
When you think SUSHI You have to think “LET’S KO!” I mean where do I start this place is now in my top List of restaurants and best sushi place in Nova Scotia ! I can only say I had a good time here and will definitely visit again soon! Food tasted amazing I have to leave a review right away
The miso and salad were very good. All the rolls were delicious. The yam roll and bbq unagi stood out.
Best sushi and sashimi in Halifax. I love their salmon sashimi. They are like fesh out of the water everytime we order. The restaurant has both korean and japanese options, and both are super delicious.
I absolutely love this place and we go regularly once a week. Food is fresh, menu varied, sushi excellent, service great, prices really good. I didn't know much about Korean food until I went there, so I've tried a lot of different things from the menu pretty much at random. Some I liked more than others of course, but ALL were good, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. If your haven't been, do try it - I'm sure you'll go back.
