Sushi is good. Service not that great. You order via a tablet at you table. Not everything you order gets to you. And not things that should come together.....like got fried rice first, then some appetizers then the General Tao and other hot dishes that the rice should have been served with. Finally some sushi....but many we ordered never showed up. They didn't have any ginger or wasabi that you normally get with sushi. The taste of the sushi is good though The cooked stuff such as General Tao is not.

My boyfriend and I have been to Hinata twice and both times it was delicious! The restaurant is big, so the tables aren't too crowded together, and the ambiance is nice with the beautiful murals and the small running waterfall in the corner. The staff have always been great - very friendly and efficient. Also I like the dishes they serve the sushi on. Very pretty. They have a large selection of sushi and other dishes. We never go hungry! P.s Michael is the best!

Pros: Delicious food, live music, nice decoration and ambiance. Cons: Service, restaurant cleanliness. We waited 50 minutes and had to speak to the waiter several times before getting served anything. Our order apparently hadn't gone through the system and no one came to check on us even as food was being served to people who had just arrived. The only saving grace is that once the food arrived, it was delicious. I am willing to give the restaurant another shot and I will update my review accordingly.

! ! ! OUTSTANDING ! ! ! Regarding the food, Sushi Hinata is to me the equivalent to Sushi Palace..... but slightly better. Large variety and freshness served by a welcoming staff was enough to make me go back again several times. Regarding the food presentation, Sushi Hinata takes the cake. Brought to the table on split-level wooden trays, wooden boats and fancy plates totally enhances ones appetite. The ambiance is colorful and relaxing and portrays some beautiful Japanese heritage. Now, what got me the most was... no more stupid papers and pens and calling your waiter over and over again. TABLETS... yes, I said TABLETS !!! You receive a tablet upon arrival on which you place your order and wait for your food to arrive. Oh, the tablet remains with you so you may order again and again until your belly says "Stop". That's when you can call your host/hostess for the bill. My new heaven !!!

Great food, tasted fresh. Wasn't too keen on the fried tofu, I was expecting a little more but other than that it was great! Service was nice as well. Plus they give you a 10% discount for simply liking their page on facebook and checking in. How awesome is THAT?
