Pristine... amazing that such a place exist just right across from little traverse wheel way along the highway 31. This wooded trail treks into a wooded area with virgin timber and asking a flowing creek. It's a breathe of fresh smelling pine...snow covered pines and indigenous trees... a treasure. Next time I will return I will run a lap on the trail adding on the unknown two track right off the trail .. the old railroad...just too add more distance..for me. This area is well marked with signage and arrows. Today, I fat biked and run the trail in snow shoes.... about 2 miles+ loop in length . It's a place off the beaton track for a secluded treat... a must.
