A great place to visit and enjoy nature. It's especially beautiful in the winter to look at and enjoy, but the roads are sometimes a bit of a hassle to go down. Enjoy at your own risk during these times. Take in picturesque views and be sure to bring the four-legged friends and get them some fresh air and exercise. Rockhounds, you can find a cool stone or two if you look really hard here, too!

Really nice place if you like rustic camping. I have been camping here regularly and love it...really nice beach areas and trails...good place for kids...no showers only outhouses (clean though) they clean it daily... Very  close to Charlevoix which has some nice restaurants and shopping downtown...lots of fruit farms around for fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables...

Beautiful hikes in the woods and on the beach. Petoskey stones are not hard to find. And almost no one else there in September. You can explore for hours in peace and quiet with gorgeous views everywhere.

Annual Welcome Spring road trip for a relaxing stone pick.  Walked across ice and snow for our 78 degree day on the beach this year!
