I really appreciate this library and the staff are always kind and helpful. The environment is clean, welcoming, and I genuinely want to continue studying here regularly.nnHowever, I’ve been struggling with the noise level from children in the study areas. I completely understand that children will make noise at times, and I don’t expect complete silence, but there are frequent situations where screaming continues for long periods of time. On many visits, it becomes so disruptive that people around me become visibly frustrated and large groups end up leaving the area.nnI rely on the library as a place to focus and study, but lately it has become extremely difficult to concentrate. At times I find myself rereading the same sentence repeatedly because of the constant screaming. I understand it may be uncomfortable for staff to address these situations, especially with parents nearby, but the current noise level often goes far beyond normal conversation or occasional child noise.nnI noticed the conduct rules ask visitors to avoid disruptive noise, which is why I felt comfortable bringing this up. I’m not trying to complain about children being present — I just hope there may be a way to better balance family spaces with quieter study areas so the library can work well for everyone.nnI don't enjoy writing things like this, so I won’t be calling the head office branch. I simply wanted to leave feedback here, and I hope my review comes across as grounded and respectful rather than insulting.
This is a very beautiful place. We can sit here comfortably and study. There is a park on the side for children to play.
Very disappointing experience. I asked a staff member how I could print something, but he was very rude and unhelpful. He did not explain anything properly and spoke in a way that was difficult to understand. It felt like he just wanted to get rid of me instead of helping. I left feeling upset and unwelcome. I hope the customer service improves because customers deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.
Fleetwood Library is a clean and quiet place, perfect for studying or relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall environment is peaceful. It has good facilities like Wi-Fi and computers, but it can get a bit crowded during busy hours. Overall, a great spot to spend time productively.
Our daughter gets some books at this library. It's smaller but a nice size for a neighbourhood library in this area. Skytrain will be a block away at 160th Street and Fraser Hwy. It's convenient if you live in this area as there are shops a block or two away. The Francis Park is located here as well. They have a work out gym here in this complex and other rooms whereby they have various activities like Chinese choir for elders.
