Wonderful building, not just the exterior but ambience and the lighting inside with enough seats, couches.nnUnderground PARKING IS FREE, we didn't know this and paid for parking as we made entrance through wrong lift. Getting into the building can be little confusing as the parking doesn't have enough sign boards.nnAmazing staff, they are really helpful and proactive in approach, I came looking for a book , they saw my baby with me and explained about the programs for infants and gave a welcome kit for her .nnGreat programs for all age groups.
aesthetically pleasing library indeed! However, if you are here to study in silence, I suggest going to a different place.nnThe open floor design doesn't contain the noise from the lower levels.nnThere are also not a lot of study carrels , but the space can allow for more. I hope the City allocated more funding to the library for more upgrades.

Great library with lots of bright lights and room to study in quiet areas. Staff is very helpful. Lots of parking underground and easy access to transit & skytrain. Definitely recommended.
I LOVE THIS LIBRARY!!!!! everything is amazing especially the staff. The receptionist/Librarians are so nice whenever I have a problem or need to ask a question. I have never encountered a rude staff member ever here. I put books on hold on the library website so its easier than looking through the shelves and it its so fun and easy. All I have to do is pick them up from the holds shelves. The library architecture and decor has me mesmerized. Its stunning. I once walked into a couple making out on the floor and it was just weird.if your going to do those type of things you can im not stopping you but seriously at the public library?
