I played the Willow's nine for the first time and it was fantastic. A great 9 hole course with par 3', 4's and a par 5. All clubs can be utilized on this course. A few bunkers and water hazards. A good introduction before you hit a full course. The fairways are tight so you have to be on point or else you are under the willow trees or in someone else's fairway. Don't forget to yell Fore! if you shank a shot. It's real tight and there are a lot of people. It is a busy 9 hole course as it is first come first serve. Anything after 11 am, you are waiting at the first tee box. Line ups start quick. Challenging course, I love it. Come give it a shot . Great for intermediate and advanced players.
Beautiful blue day ! Wet condition on the fair way green. Good condition on the green
Played the Willows 9. Great little executive course. The pace was fast with very little waiting. Good combination of par 3, 4 and 5's. Will definitely be back.
Play the Willows 9! Good for beginners, seniors can walk. Kids friendly. Not busy most times. In nearly as good shape as the main course. In and out of the property in under 2 hours!
Very impressed with the quality of the fairways and tee box areas. 98% of the grass is dark green. It's September 30th and the conditions are great. Well done Surrey 7:30 am tee off.
Longest round played in3 years. 5 hrs 15 min. Waited at every hole. 3 groups waiting most holes. Called for a Marshall to come light a fire under the groups that had empty holes ahead of them after 2 hours and we were only on 6th hole. Saw him about 90 min later tootling along and nothing changed. Brutal for the price and considering new owners, they seem to be just sitting back and not caring. Pretty sad.
Good for the beginners and for practicing your short game.
Willows course kept nice, however, all the tee box was so much divots and not smooth. Green was good. Fair price for the practice for short game
Decent clubhouse for a decent breakfast or meal. Lots of room and friendly staff. Played the Mens forward tees but not sure where the Red tees are. Course is summer condition, dry and fast fairways. Greens were fine.
Enjoyed 2 rounds of Willows 9 hole, but received poor customer experience at hole 1. Player's assistant at asked to see my receipt. I was not given a receipt at the clubhouse, and offered to show the transaction on my mobile pay app. Player's assistant declined, and said it is players responsibility to get the receipt. As a first time player at this course, I was not aware that I required to show a receipt, nor was it made apparent by any sort of signage. I felt insulted and made to feel at fault, when the responsibility of ensuring players have their receipt is with the staff at the clubhouse. The players assistant radioed back to the clubhouse, where the staff confirmed that I had paid my fee and was not given a receipt. This experience really soured my mood, when I should have been excited to be teeing off.
