Surdyk's Liquor & Cheese Shop

The staff is amazing! They all have a positive attitude and an eagerness to help. The store is big with a big alcohol selection. They do a lot of wine/alcohol sampling (especially on weekends) and the prices are the best in the area. I typically like to put together my list of bottles online, that way it's much easier to get in and out. It is VERY easy to get distracted and sirens more time than intended, in here. I have yet to visit the cheese side, but it is always busy over there, so I can only assume it must be just as great!

I love this liquor store. There's so many different varieties of things you can buy. I love it when they do free wine tastings here. But my absolute favorite part about Surdyk's is their deli/ cheese shop. I am a dessert lover and when Cafe Latte seem too far of a drive, I go to Surdyk's to get my dessert fix. The kinds of cakes they sell changes every day but there's always something perfect for my taste buds. The cheese there is amazing too. I have loved every single one I've tried.

This place is great. Friendly staff. Liqueur on back wall is organized in a confusing way, but I'm easily confused, especially when they...have sample days! You can actually wander around and have pleasant conversation and get a little tipsy, it's great! Cheese shop is pretty bomb, with knowledgeable, friendly staff and they make some mean sandwiches too! I highly recommend this stop, on your way to a dinner party, or on the way home after a long day. :)

Went there once - bumped into a really helpful and nice employee who recommended which wines/ etc to get. On the other side when we went to get cheese - had an employee push one particular kind of cheese at us - turned out they had received a large quantity of it and were trying to get rid of it. The cheese WAS good and all the staff were really funny about it. I just felt a bit put off that they were pushing that cheese on everyone who came in (hence the four star rating) They had some great Vermont cheeses too! (VERMONT CHEESE!)

The best place for a lunch sandwich in NE! They also have unique, European cheeses, olives, meats and butter. Great side item options and an assortment of baked goods, too! Knowledgeable and friendly counter staff, I visit Surdyk's cheese shop weekly.
