Haven't been this delighted by a bookstore in ages. Wish I'd gotten a photo of the gorgeous recycled book cover magnets.nnWas in love with general comfy, well-loved, lived-in feeling of the store; it took me by surprise. When I'd looked at photos in other reviews I'd gotten wrong impression & for some reason thought it smaller & more modern.nnAdored the picture book displays in children's area, & LOVED LOVED LOVED the bins by help desk of look & find/ I Spy & random stuff from 2000s like American Girl Craft books. Nostalgia wormhole. Just absolutely couldn't get enough & will be back to stock up before next road trip. Love the discount racks out front too.nnTheir playlist was nnPrices were amazing. Location is amazing. Fact they love dogs really they were all so kind to mine, & the fact they allow them @ all is amazing & wonderful Hope they continue to thrive for decades to come - what a GEM in the community. Gosh, so glad I visited: bringing all my besties back ASAP.
Huge shout out to the staff! I called the day of a signing and placed an order to be mailed to me I'm out of the state. The staff was really nice and helpful. The book arrived 3 days after the signing! It was shipped safe and secure! Thank you so much!
this might be one of my favorite bookstores ever!! the biggest selection ever of mainly used or overstock books. so many fantastic quality used books, like-new books for used price, and multiple editions of books for a collector like me to pick and choose from. so so so perfect and excellent for any type of reader with different tastes in books and types of books. love this place!!
Second time going to this book store and it’s always a fantastic experience. They’re very well stocked and organized, I can find exactly the right section that I go there for without much effort. It doesn’t feel too clustered or crowed, but the shelves are aligned in a way that makes it feel whimsical, like you could get lost in there for hours.nThe staff are absolutely lovely and the prices are more than reasonable in my opinion. Nice variety of books for everyone to choose from in varying price ranges too.
Best bookstore in Minneapolis! The selection is abundant and includes every kind of book you could need. The prices are affordable, and there’s a discounted section in the back. The clerks are friendly and knowledgeable. Skip Barnes & Noble and come here!!
