Superfly

We had a pretty good dinner at Superfly. Hands down, they have the best soundtrack playing in the background. There was not one song we didn’t like. It definitely added to the already great atmosphere. There’s plenty of free neighbourhood parking, at least when we went. There’s an outdoor area that was covered when we went, and people flocked to still even when it was a bit cold. We sat inside, and the inside was uniquely decorated, and brightly lit with enough natural light. Our server gave great recommendations. The drinks were great, and the food was pretty good too. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, sausage bun, fried chicken, brandade eclair, and a red snapper with a green goddess sauce the daily fish. The chicken and eclair were really good. The fish was a bit fishy, so that was probably the only negative. Otherwise, great experience and hope they switch up the menu.

Super cool vibes! First time here and loved it! Great service and the bartender made killer cocktails! The Eggplant parm sandwich was on point! It’s MASSIVE, tasty AND super cheap! everything about this sandwich down to the extra sauce on plate was amazing! Recommend this spot for date nights or with a group of friends! What a magical gem in Parkdale! ..can’t believe I just went for the first time!

Amazing atmosphere. Stellar service. Phenomenal cocktails. Love this little Parkdale joint. They had just launched a new menu when I visited, so it was great timing. Eggplant Parm was so flavourful. As were the mac and cheese sticks and kale salad.. but the DONUTS. The DONUTS. We ordered two more to eat on the wintery walk home.

Tasty cocktails. Delicious foodies. Awesome atmosphere. "Super" Friendly Staff. Comfy cozy covered/heated patio. Private dinning room available upon request. Convenient parking nearby on various side streets or Queen St. Make sure you check out the cool art in the bathroom!

I really wanted to like this place! Superfly has been on my list for a while and I finally got to visit as the patio reopened. We showed up around 7 and the covered patio was packed ! Fortunately we only had to wait a few minutes to get seated. During the time we went, Kaboom kitchen was serving food out of their kitchen. We decided on Korean Fried Chicken, Cucumber Salad and Korean pancake. I have to be honest and say the food was a little disappointing : or not what I’m used to when it comes to Korean fried chicken. The salad was watery and quite bland - I was hoping it would be closer to traditional side dishes you would get at Korean places. It tasted like they watered down red pepper paste and just drizzle it on. As for the chicken, I have to say the batter was nice and crispy and they were cooked through — but again there was something missing from the flavour. As for the pancake, it was interesting. I was imagining something like the typical Korean seafood pancakes or even the Chinese scallion pancakes but we were served what looked like crepes with some green onion. The sauce for the pancake was good but my partner and I were really curious as to what made the chef approach the pancake that way. As for the cocktail, they were nothing I never had before. I heard about this place and it’s chill vibes that’s why I wanted to check it out and I really wanted to like it - but unfortunately the experience was forgettable : However! I understand the pandemic has made it hard for restaurant businesses and that I may have not seen Superfly in full action. That being said I think I’d be open to revisit when indoor dining is possible :

Great service, good food, awesome atmosphere. Relaxing vibe and sharable dishes. We had the steak tartar, grilled avocado salad, chicken liver pâté, and the red snapper was all very good. Alex the manager came over to help us out and was incredibly friendly. Had a great time!

This place is amazing. I've gone a few times now and everyone I've come with LOVES it. Their burger and fries are my favourite, but I haven't eaten anything I didn't love. Patio is comfortable and bright, and inside is cozy yet lively. Great daily drink deals too. Highly recommend checking it out!!

Went for dinner with a group of 8. Love the vibe here, sort of a funk, soul, motown thing going on. Food was good, we shared a bunch of stuff and the highlight was definitely the fried chicken. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a cool spot for some drinks and snacks. Also, nod to the service which was great especially considering they JUST opened.

Amazing spot! Simple and delicious menu, super cool vibe, cocktails were on point. We sat outside in the heated patio and it was super cozy. Also the playlist was on point. Will definitely come back

Love this new spot on Brock! Have been twice on a Sunday and their patio is exactly where I want to be on a sunny afternoon. Once for drinks, once for dinner, both times was super impressed with the service, the ambience and the music. Decor is superfly really funky but upscale. The food we ordered was delicious - started with oysters yummm, moved onto the shrimp salad MY FAVOURITE, tartare as well as frites, brussels sprouts and the pork sandwich. A perfectly medley of indulgent and freshness. Drinks are creative and delicious, the SuperFly spritz was my favourite. Service was great. Bartender Alex makes the best drinks! Can't wait to go back.
