Super 8 St. Cloud

My room seemed very comfortable and I slept well. Unfortunately, in the morning I spotted a bedbug on one of the pillows. I looked around before I slept, under the mattress and in the sheets, etc and didn't see anything. I looked further after spotting the bedbug and noticed blood spots on the carpet near the wall. A friend staying at the same hotel said she saw blood spots on the wall in her room as well. When I called to request a refund/money towards a new suitcase just now the person I spoke with was very accommodating and she is putting money onto my credit card as a refund. She was very kind and helpful. They are going to take care of the issue immediately with pest control.

Stayed here for a conference, someone else booked our rooms. Honestly, my expectations were LOW based on past experiences with other Super 8 motels. But they have made me rethink staying at Super 8s. Breakfast was great! (I love waffles! 😊) Beds were comfortable, room was clean and we didn't hear people up and down the hall all night. Would definitely stay here again!

As a disclaimer, it's hard to not love a place that has a massive photo from your hometown over the bed. If I had to complain about something, like most hotels the bed is a little on the firm side and if you look close enough, you can find an outdated detail here and there. That said, this was one of the most attractive hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The recent remodeling is very well done. The modern furniture is very classy and the new carpet has this unbelievable soft silky texture you can't wait to sink your toes into. The appliances all worked...even the hair dryer. Having a fridge and microwave for my extended stay was a lifesaver. The staff was professional, competent and friendly. The rooms are clean, quiet and feel safe. Even though the parking lot was quite full I didn't hear anyone else inside or outside the building, which is surprising since it is located so centrally in one of the busiest areas of town. For such a great price, it's an excellent place to stay and easy to see why it's so popular.

It's nicer than I thought it would be. Bed isn't bad but I've been in better. I had a fridge and microwave. Bathroom is decent. Flat screen TV. No major complaints here. Front desk seemed nice. $10 pet charge per night. Sucks, but it's better than some other places. Lots of stuff within walking distance. Overall it's a good stay.

Friendly staff. Easy check-in. Recently updated room. Appreciated the outlets in the base of bedside lamps. Motel was full, but room was quiet. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Water reached temperature quickly, good pressure in shower.
