Very clean hotel, courteous staff, and efficient. We had a group of people and they checked us all into rooms right by each other which was so nice. This hotel has been around a long time, but you wouldn't notice when it comes to the rooms. The pool area is a little dated and could use a lot more chairs. There were only a few tables and chairs by the pool and a few chase lounges. There were 10 of us and only 4 chairs available for us to all connect at. Everything was extremely clean though. The beds were nice but heavier blankets for the winter months might be a nice addition. Bring an extra blanket if you like weight on you when you sleep. The pillows are pretty awkward too. Very soft but very thick. Woke up with a stiff neck. I usually bring my own with but forgot this time. Would recommend bringing your own favorite. Loved the furniture in my room as well. Very comfortable. Very roomy with a beautiful view of the Mississippi. We ordered from the restaurant and our food was cold and some of it was really overcooked. But, overall, not a bad place.

Room was what I expected and Great! Check-in was an hour and a half late, so if you are planning to travel and it's a weekend, they might not be ready to check in on time! Staff were friendly, but being out of town, could have offered a free drink or app in the bar while I was waiting. I would not stay again, unless all other hotels are booked, was not happy that they were basically like, housekeeping is behind. I am paying over $200 for a room. Be ready to check me in or change your check-in times. Thanks.

The hotel and amenities were just fine. Staff was friendly / helpful - PET Friendly!!! Would have been 5 stars, but the restaurant breakfast left alot to be desired. The food was not hot/warm; potatoes were hard!

If I could give 5 stars to the guy who checked us in, individually, I would do so, as his customer service was excellent. However, the quality of the room was poor, and not what I'd expected, given the poor lighting, buckled wall sheathing, and foul aroma, which permeated everything in the room. The Green Mill Restaurant was also a poor value. The sub-par offerings were pricey and scanty, and the wait service was so confused, that they couldn't find our service bill, and actually made us wait while they handled other customers and chit-chatted among themselves and the management. Fortunately, the bedding was comfortable, and the room was extremely quiet, I wish I could give another half star to account for this, but in balance there were quite a few off-putting qualities of my stay.

Usually the Kelly Inn is fine, but the construction left my room a mess with noisy construction right outside my window before 7 am, lights that didn't work or made noise, and an extremely loud ac/heater unit. I asked the lights be replaced and only 1 (the one that didn't make noise) was replaced. The conference experience was great. All the staff was helpful.and professional. But staying at the hotel as a guest was not pleasant.
