Super 8 by Wyndham Ionia MI

I booked a King Suite with a hot tub. After driving sever hours to get here I was looking forward to the jacuzzi tub. Little did I know that if you have a pet with you they downgrade your room to whatever is left that they have reserved for pet owners. If they don't have anything else you are S.O.L. This was one of the few places in the area that had rooms available. Had they just been upfront I would have reserved a proper room. The room that I did get has a king size bed that is fit for Fred Flintsone, as it feels like it's made out of concrete. My room smelled like urine upon opening the door. Towels are small and scratchy.

Decent stay, rooms looked to be mostly remodeled. Some things like the carpet and some furniture still need to be updated. Overall I was satisfied

We love our Ionia super 8! We have been here many times to just spend the night and the staff is super awesome and friendly! They even made us coffee and set us up with their rewards program! Super time!

Very basic hotel. Good value (inexpensive room), but it's nothing special. If you're looking for just a one night stay and you need to be in the area, you'll be ok here. Access is very easy-right at the highway. Parking is immediately out the front door. Check in was easy, and the staff was friendly. The room is very basic. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is decent. Overall, it appeared clean. The TV is quite small-more like a large computer screen, and has very limited channels. There is no place to sit-no chair, except for a office chair at the small desk, which is really a table. Wifi was very slow. Breakfast was included in the room price, but was very basic. No hot items except for waffle maker and a toaster. Cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, prepacked pastries were your choices. Access to restaurants is about a 4-5 mile drive away into town, except for a Subway next door at the head station. Overall it was a place to stay for one night with very basic amenities.

Stayed here last night. The desk clerk was friendly, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and I had a quiet nights rest. Not to mention the water was as hot as it is at home... if I'm ever around the area again I'd definitely stay again.
