From the moment our day to arrive started the experience was excellent. We were prompted to check in before our stay and it was easy and convenient. When we arrived the staff was very welcoming and professional. The facility is very clean and well kept. The gym was great the breakfast was well appointed. We very much enjoyed our stay and the staff really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The price for the stay was fair and really worth it. Highly recommend.
EXCEPTIONAL!nWell done Super 8 - High River!nThey say it’s the people that make a place great and this location never fell short of its customer comforts.nRose greeted us at the front desk and was happy, proficient and accommodating. The next morning we met Andrea at the breakfast room who was multitasking at the front desk! She shared great stories and was incredible generous. Shannon, head of house keeping, was more than accommodating to extend our stay just a little bit longer that day. This hotel is fortunate to have this staff, they are definitely an asset to the hotel. The room was clean and cool. Kids loved the pool and water slide. And they found more excitement to make their own waffles! Highly recommend this location for your stay whether short or long, this place has it going on!
Honestly it’s been a while since I’ve stayed at a super 8. I was pleasantly surprised! We stayed in the king suite- only room available. The room was huge. Nice little wet bar/microwave/fridge area. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and the towels were soft. TV was large and newer. The sofa was looking a bit tired but it was clean and comfortable. Most importantly the bed was comfortable, linens were clean and soft and there were plenty of pillows. The staff were great and the free breakfast was a bonus. My only complaint is that it’s a wood building so there was some noise from the upstairs guests walking around, was not ideal but also was no one’s fault except the original builder! There was no noise from the outside or hallway and we had a very comfortable sleep.
Stopped here on our way home to Edmonton from BC and from the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left it was five star service. The front desk clerk went above and beyond, for us, the rooms were clean and bright, the pool and hot tub were awesome and the continental breakfast was AMAZING! They had the ‘little things’ that made it amazing like cheese and salsa for eggs. It was great value, easy to book last minute and super friendly staff!
Travelled to high river super 8 with our team. Very disappointed in the customer service we experienced at this hotel. The front desk attendant in the afternoons was very difficult to talk to, and was very rude. Not just to me, but to majority of our team when we checked in or asked for towels etc. I tried to reach out to talk to a manager but she refused to allow me to talk to anyone but her. I emailed the contact we were supplied with no response.nFor being a paying customer, we were not treated with respect, more of a problem of us being there.nQuiet time is 10pm which we were respectful of, but at 7pm we were getting noise complaints. And yet in the late evenings 1030/11pm other guest of the hotel were running back and forth in the hallways and partying in their rooms and that was allowed.nApparently there is also a resident on the first floor and she yelled at a pair of young siblings
