The science exhibits were well designed and educational. Throughout the day, curators show reptiles to the kids detailing their background and interesting facts. However, some of the activities are worn, missing pieces or not maintained. Nice place to visit to get out of the house and have your kids learn.
You can play with everything here! It's so hands on and amazing for kids. Learning never stop nor does the fun! I had more fun than my own kids did!
Small museum with activities/options for kids of a variety ages 2 - 11, I'd say. I brought my 2 year old here and she loved it--the sensory room, rubber band wall, and giant color brite board were her favorite exhibits. It is small, as I said before, so if you're going just to look around then your visit will be over in about 30 minutes or so. Most of the exhibits are interactive though, so if your child loves hands-on activities, I could see them being kept occupied for hours. Overall a decent little museum, and it was nice to see that they were in the process of renovating and adding exhibits. Please note that they will not let you in if you do not have a child with you this is for the safety of the kids.
Amazing! Animal show every afternoon at 2 plus an interactive children's museum....ONLY $5 each!! Also offer a family membership for $80 a year. Super bargain if you take your kids multiple times!
I Love this place! I went with a Groupon last year with my 5y/o during a break and have been back here for her 6th birthday party and a scouting event! I'm 35 and I would spend my day here building by myself. Too bad you have to have kids with you... Oh well! We will be back bc we learn so much, have fun and get to see the world in different ways. Great for a rainy day or to let your kids explore when they're 'bored'.
Was alright. I have a toddler so she doesn't have much of an attention span. We usually manage to kill a couple of hours at children's museums but at this one we were all done and ready to leave in 30 mins. Small and some of the exhibits were geared towards olders kids. Saw a few birthday parties being held there.
I'll tell you right off the bat, if I didn't have a "GROUPON", I would felt like this visit was a complete wast of money. When we got there it was nice and quiet, only a few other families were there. My kids were able to navigate the stations. About an hour into our visit, there was a large summer camp that came in and were very disruptive. Running and screaming. The counselors were making me and my kids very uncomfortable, all they did was yelled at the kids the entire time there. The groups of kids were everywhere and my kids just didn't want to be there any more. We left with a "not so pleasant" tase in our mouth. I wish before we entered for the day that we were told that a summer camp was coming in soon, because I would've come back another day. Even if the campers weren't there, there wasn't much to keep my kids attention for more then 2 hours. My youngest kept asking is this everything? Wouldn't recommend, even this white bunny didn't want to be there.... Poor guy.
A small STEM museum with a lot of heart! This space feels small, but they do a lot with what they have. There's some nature exhibits with live animals, some interactive play exhibits, some building exhibits, and frequently there's events and activities put on by the very kind, very dedicated staff. We went to the free New Year's Noon event and it was a ton of fun. Face painting, animal shows, and several crafts made the party very special. Definitely check their Facebook page for updates on events. Parking is a dedicated lot and very easy. Restrooms are clean and neat. We like it here, but because we've experienced all the regular exhibits, we would only come back for a special event.
What a sad place. Not well maintained, dirty and small places for animals. Paid premium entry fees for nothing fun.
Nice and cool place. Not a lot of exhibits yet kids lived it.
