I have used Shannon for 12 years. She is awesome! She does a wonderful job and I have sent many customers her way. However, the older lady is rude and disrespectful and just a right out terrible person. The receptionist is very kind and helpful. I will not ever send anyone else that way if this lady is still dealing with people. I no longer will use her services either. Which is sad for Shannon because she is a beautiful, kind person herself and does a really good job. But when you ask to speak to her or have her return a call and this “older lady” says it’s not happening - there’s a problem. Be cautious to use them. I don’t know who this lady is however, when I went back in, me-still being kind and soft spoken she walked up and handed me the W2 and said Shannon won’t be doing your taxes. I did let her know before I left that she was a very rude individual! She should NOT be allowed to interact with any other human beings. Just saying! and I don’t have to deal with her totally rude, disrespectful and just plain bad attitude self anymore. I did my own on turbo tax and saved 250$ so there ya go!!! Win for me!!!

I had my taxes prepared as well as my granddaughters. After a couple of weeks, received a phone call from receptionist stating my granddaughter needed to go to the IRS website and and print a form out with her info on it and send back to Sunshine Acct. Furthermore, the receptionist was very hateful and she would not get Shannon on the line nor tell her to call me back. Granddaughters taxes could not be processed until Sunshine Accounting received the form. I called several times to talk to Shannon, and no way would they put me through to her. They called a couple of more times and stated they needed the form. I said we paid you to do that. So we just gave up and considered the money for Shannon to do my granddaughters taxes was a loss. All she had was a W-2 form. She worked one job. So, my granddaughter ended up doing her own taxes. She received her money back, $1129.00. All she was getting back from Shannon doing her taxes was $300.00, minus what Sunshine Acctng. charged to do her taxes done. They kept saying she received obama care, WHICH was in her mothers name and her mother claimed it. Nothing to do with granddaughter. Be weary of this joint. Gave her money for NOTHING! Find somewhere else to get your taxes prepared.

I am very happy with the service Sunshine Accounting has offered. After struggling to find a great accountant. I found them online. Now I use them for my business and personal. They communicate well, do what they say, and offer great customer service. I would highly recommend their services.

This is a wonderful and very professional buisness. My family has been working with Shannon since 2012 and couldn't be happier. She has gone above and beyond for us while always making sure we were satisfied.

Very professional company that I’ve been using for the past 5 years. Shannon is prompt and knows your stuff! I tried using turbo tax, I owed the government 90 dollars. Just for the hell of it I decided to check out sunshine accounting. They found deductions I was missing and ended up getting me back just over 900 dollars!! Thanks again Shannon!

Rude...unbelievably rude!! I went in for the one and only time last spring of 2017 to pick up my husbands paperwork. I didn't have enough cash on me and they refused to accept my card because they didn't know me we were newly married. I called my husband to let him know, so it was now set for him to pick it up. He is a local business owner here in town and has been for over 30 years! Before I got to the door the older lady told me that our taxes were done and we had to pay for that also. I'm sure that I looked confused because I was. I said that "I did not know that, my husband told me we would need to make an appointment to come in and sit with Shannon? to discuss them." we were married for less than 2 months at the end of 2016, so we were unsure of how to file...joint or separate. I GOT LAUGHED AT AND WAS TOLD BY THE OLDER LADY AND THE MAN THAT "WE NEEDED TO WORK ON OUR COMMUNICATION". I left very very upset....angry and in tears........A few months ago I needed a copy of our taxes from 2016 to prove our income for something. I called them and asked if they could please fax them to me at my office. Again, more rudeness. She would not send my husbands to me unless she got his permission. I did finally get them and tried to be nice and thanked them. Was hung up on after being fussed at for wasting THEIR time. There is more but I am getting tired of typing. They finally pissed my husband off for the last time and I am happy to day he found someone better!!! You have no business dealing with the public if you are rude and unhelpful! Oh, and they messed up our 2017 taxes and I am going to have them redone if I can, don't think they understood the "Obama Care". We should have gotten some money back......we supposedly owe over $950.00!

So this is a small business ran by a sweet woman by the name of Roberta. She’s the CPA for Sunshine Accounting. She’s extremely busy so she did a very honorable thing by giving her mother a job. Her mother deals with the clients because of Roberta’s schedule. You would think the mother would be proud and have respect for her daughters establishment. Instead she’s extremely disrespectful. Appears to be uneducated, a liar I asked to speak to her daughter and she said that she was her daughter as if I never sat in her daughters face for an hour listening to her doesn’t listen at all. If you’re not speaking to Roberta personally don’t waste your time.

I've never encountered the racist energy this place has, ever in my life. The supposed "mother" is the worst. If you're a melinated Hue man, don't trust these people with the information you need for a successful business. Their hatred can't be trusted even when being paid.

Sunshine accounting is the best! We have been with them 4 yrs now and they have taken great care of us.
