Food was good..... View was the best..... Loved the way they don't charge a premium for the view..... Make sure you book in advance
Great place to enjoy an evening. The view is great we went on the first week of November!! Food is very good and the service is excellent!! Place looks clean as well. A must try !!
As the name says nice place to visit during sunset. Enjoyed great food with river view.
Amazing views and amazing place They follow the covid guidelines properly The sunset view from the patio is amazing They have a variety of food and beverages and even if you are a vegetarian you have a lot of options The death bu chocolate cake is a must try, it’s something you should just not miss
Surprisingly rude staff at both the entrance and the waitress at our table. They did not want us to sit near the windows we came for the view and to watch the skiers because we came in for drinks and appetizers and not a full lunch. The woman who seated us argued that we had to order food to sit there.....we repeated that we planned to order appetizers. The waitress gave us the menus and before even ordering our drinks, rudely said "so are you gonna order something?" My husband asked her if there was draft beer and her response was "there's a list in the menu". Our friend ordered extra olives in his Bloody Mary, but it was served with none that we could see. He asked for more olives and our waitress said with an attitude "well, she put four in there". Eventually, we found the olives in the bottom of the glass. We ordered steak nachos which were just okay. The "steak" was very fine flakes of meat, not at all what we expected. We're still in disbelief how rudely we were treated when we were some of the only patrons in the entire restaurant.
Great meal. Wonderful service and gorgeous views. I enjoyed the salmon and my wife, the Margherita pizza. It was a lovely evening with a beautiful sunset, but the true highlight was how Les, the resort manager went above and beyond to help get the Tesla charger going when our car charge was so low. Clearly someone who takes whatever steps necessary to put clients first. Thank you so much Les! We’ll be back!
A nice restaurant located in the Chestnut Mountain Resort. The views from the seating area are amazing. The food is decent and reasonably priced. The Chicken Wings are very tasty. The staff is very friendly and overall they have a nice ambiance.
Get there when the sun is setting . The brisket burger was really good the beet salad was average.
The food is pretty good but the servers cannot understand the concept of appetizers, soup, salad, main course. They bring out everything all at once. Every single time that I have been there the server always do that. And I even ask them to bring it out one at a time.
Beautiful view! However, the service was very disappointing. One in our group ordered a brandy old fashioned and the bartender made it with whiskey I watched him pour it, apparently hoping it would go unnoticed. When my friend tasted the drink she immediately knew it was wrong and we specifically asked him if it was made with brandy and he lied and said yes. We didn’t want to make a big scene about it but the drink was so poorly and incorrectly made she had to ask for a substitution. Thankfully he made an alternative drink without issue. It would have been fine if he said he didn’t know how to make the old fashioned, or told us they didn’t have brandy, but him choosing to lie about it was extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend ordering any drink here that involves more than two ingredients, and definitely watch closely as they prepare it for you.
