Stayed in my trailer. What a well kept, super loved quiet place to stay. The owner works tirelessly keeping the place up. This is possibly the best RV place/hotel in surprise valley. I would definitely stay here again, just for the wonderous quiet.

Beautiful setting near the Warner Mountains. The Sunrise Motel has very clean rooms and affordable rates. Cedarville, California (population 500) is a quiet town with friendly people. It is in the Surprise Valley, also known as the California Outback--high desert ranch country.

I camped here so I can't speak to the rooms. However, as a camper I had a great night's sleep on the grass here. There's a bathroom for campers and RV folks and you can do laundry here as well. The innkeeper is a darling lady. In the morning she let her chickens out and it was fun to watch them doing their thing. Overall, we had a relaxing and pleasant stay.

Super cute property. Very reasonable rates. Great shower, kitchen, and laundry facilities.
