Sunrise Motel

My review is mainly based on my interactions with the gentleman at the front desk whom I assume may be the manager. He is being very kind in working with me to get an item returned to me that I left there. My sister and I and 2 grandsons stayed there after a wedding. The motel we had made a reservation with earlier was horrible so we loaded back up and tried the Sunrise Motel. It was nice and clean and very economical so we didn't expect all the high end amenities. To me kindness and courteousness was more important to me than an indoor pool at 2:00 am.

The rooms were nice but older. Manager was very nice and the bed was fairly nice. Only drawback is no pool.

Manager was rude about the fact i forgot to recheck that my kids came with me. There was really nothing for breakfast except mini muffins and juice and overall it was difficult to get to.

Managed to get a room with the college world series going on while we had no power after a tornado went through town.

If I could rate a big negative "0" - I would! This was by far the worst motel. The management was rude and the staff will come in your room anytime they please unannounced. I went to dinner, returned to this motel only to find the room key did not work and they refused to replace with another. The manager insisted he let me in. Do not stay here!!
