Biggest Public Pool I have ever been to. Nice and clean, looked so blue and had a nice bar located next door. Parking was plentiful.
The bad experience this year, we came at 4 pm and stay on the queue outside more then 1 hour on hot sun . Stuff give chance come in only 1 person in 20 min. SO, all people struggle outside and can't come inside, at the same time pool empty. Very bad management and stuff careless. NO PLACE FOR PEOPLE TO ENJOY WITH KIDS. IN THE RICHEST CITY NO POOL NO NICE LAKESIDE. WHERE GO ALL OUR TAX, NO IDEA.
Busy pool during 12-6 pm. Great family space in the shallow end. Love the swim lanes especially. The deep end has no diving and the lifeguards keep an eye out for safety.
My favourite outdoor pool in Ontario. The free admission is great. Lifeguards on deck are polite and pleasant. However, the younger ones working the counter can learn to be more polite and respectful. They handle any question as an intrusion to their own group conversations.nnLots of space and most swimmers are respectful and friendly. You get the odd regulars who might act like they own the space but that happens anywhere. The lifeguards could do a better job to educate these entitled folks that we all share the space in a public pool.nnThe pool itself is clean and free of any debris. It feels clean and safe.nnThe location is excellent. The facilities itself can do with some upgrading like new paint and bigger lockers but it's good enough for now. If you like swimming outdoors, this is the pool to go to.nnThe lifeguards here are polite and take their job seriously. Unfortunately, parking is not free anymore except during weekday office hours.nnIt is fantastic to swim here and be able to see Rogers, walkers, dogs, baby strollers, and so on passing by.nnThe change room really needs an upgrade. And they really need to try to stabilize their dropping swim schedules, especially for lane swims.
The owner of this place is an absolute joke. Him and his friends splash water on everyone who is laying and sleeping around the pool. When life guards react his friends starts verbally attacking the life guard while others jump in the water to intentionally splash water on the life guard that is concerned for the pools guests wet towels.
