Amazing place with 3 swimming pools and Great Lake view. If you looking for place to spend hot summer day for free, there’s no better option. If you like diving there’s a pool covered with 1m, 3m, 5m and 10m dive boards in the diving pool. There are restrictions in the diving pool. Please ask a lifeguard about the rules.
Welcome back Swimmers!!!!nnSummerville is literally the best outdoor swimming pool on the East side of Toronto. Summerville consists of 3 swimming pools: a 50m Olympic pool, 25m shallow pool, and a dive tank.nnThe Olympic pool is open for the 2024 swim season. What’s new? There are 4 dedicated lanes for lane swimming. New buoy lines. Plus, the infamous long-waited liner has been installed. You won’t be disappointed. The water temperature is perfect. Follow it up with the hot showers.nnFeel like diving? We got you covered with 1m, 3m, 5m and 10m dive boards in the diving pool. There are restrictions in the diving pool. The Pool is a 10! The fact that people do not shower before using the pool, that is an-10. I see people bringing children in and showing them how to just wet part of their bathing suit, supposedly constituting a shower…no soap, no cleanliness.nGross! Lazy people don’t shower before using the pool…I see no one, no notices, and it’s not enforced.nnShould be No Shower, No Entry!nnPublic pools need a LARGE notice, with pictures of characters demonstrating how to shower ‘BEFORE ENTERING’ the pool.nnCome on Toronto parks & rec Dept., you can do way better than that! Get with the ‘Better Health in Toronto Program’.
Amazing pool! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Thanks guys for the great time. They have 3 different pools along with the nice wooden deck to relax. The one reason for which i went here was diving and had such a wonderful experience. The tower has two platforms for the dive 5 & 10 meters, but 10 meter is accessible with the the permission only.nOne can also drop in here.nVisit you soon!!
We went for the reopening. 3/5 stars. The actual 50m pool is decent, nothing special but nice. Obviously it's location is pretty cool, with the ability to go to the beach afterwards.nnI wasn't here to see the swimming pool before the renovations and love that the swimming pool is free, but the changing rooms really required some care as they were pretty dirty and I guess haven't been properly cleaned since renovation work has been completed. Also seeing as the changing rooms are open changing, my girlfriend was uncomfortable when a guy came in to clean.nnIt's just a shame as the pool could easily be awesome and 5/5 stars, with some more care and attention. I've also read previous reviews saying how bags have been stolen from lockers. I can easily see how this can happen.
