Sunny Bluffs Chalets

It’s a long and winding tale that starts with ambiguous information about dogs being allowed. Takes a left turn with a surprise damage deposit on the second day of our stay. And ends with a berating and us leaving early. Long storey short, they don’t allow dogs. Regardless of how many times you describe your dog to them. They will still claim you “misrepresented” the dog. Dealing with Philipine and Joel was the worst experience I have ever had at an accommodation. They were patronizing, made things up as they pleased, and made us feel completely unwelcome. Luckily we were able to get our money back. Everybody else in the Kootenays was great, and no other accommodations had a single problem with our dog.

Had a super cosy stay here with my parents in the Deer Lodge. It was extremely clean, quiet and had all the amenities. Philipine and Joel were really caring and accommodating hosts too, we’d be happy to come back and stay here again!
