Sungreen Landscaping

We recently had a landscaping project completed in our front yard. A very large tree was removed, the old grass, top soil, hedges and shrubbery was all removed and we started from scratch. New top soil. grass, plants, trees and rocks were added and our yard went from ho-hum to beautiful. All of the Sungreen staff were great to work with and Medhi stayed in close touch with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We would definitely recommend Sungreen to anyone looking to complete a landscaping project.

I didn't end up using Sungreen Landscaping; however... Henry was very professional with his review of the project, and he presented a very detailed drawing of the project which no other landscaping company has done for us. His prices were in-line with other quotes we received, and ultimately we ended up going with a landscaper that was able to fit us in their schedule earlier than Sungreen. I can still speak to Sungreen's quality of work because they were referred to us by our neighbor, and our neighbor's yard looks amazing! I'm sure you'd be happy with Sungreen on your landscaping projects!

Sungreen designed & landscaped our yard that is very large. We had no idea where to even start. They have the experience & knowledge to share. They were willing to work with us & do various changes quite a few I might add as we requested. The workmanship & final outcome was far better than we could have ever expected. The quality & professionalism provided was excellent. We are extremely satisfied & would not hesitate to recommend Sungreen Landscaping to anyone looking to landscape there yard, big or small!

We were pleased with the quality work that was provided by Sungreen during the construction phase of our landscape project. This project consisted of intricate rock work,edging, plants, shrubs and trees throughout in addition to a gorgeous water feature at the front of our property. We really enjoy the look of our home now and are often complemented by others as they walk by. The best part for me is that Sungreen achieved a professional landscape project for us in 2 weeks which would have taken me 2 years to achieve in my 'spare' time. Awesome!

Giving my honest review. Worked with at least other landscape companies in Calgary in the past. We had Sungreen come in fix a project that was left from another company. They got it done in time and within budget. The fixed a retaining wall and gave great suggestions for trees.

If I could give this company a zero I would prefer that. I got their contact information from my neighbor. They had redone their backyard with two retaining walls. They took apart our fence for this to be able to get their machines into the yard. We were fine with this. When they put the fence back together our fence was destroyed. Fast forward to now, we wanted a decent quote for our backyard as the ones we were getting weren't the greatest. I had Henry come out to give a quote. He was extremely rude when I was explaining our property line and that it ends where I said it ended and he argued with me there saying no I don't know what I am talking about. Then I gave him my real property report and he said oh I guess you were right. This guy was lacks customer service. He then send me a quote a week and half later. This quote was double the price my neighbor paid. I could not believe it. He then proceeds to tell me that he didn't do my neighbors backyard, but I saw the invoice for their backyard, hence the reason I called him. I told him that and he said no, absolutely not we did not do their property. This company is so unprofessional its crazy. Considering the amount of money we pay to get landscaping done, I would avoid this company at all costs. They are horrible!! I told him we would no be going with the price he gave us and lets see what else we could do to get the price down, but would absolutely not be going with the price he gave us and at that point he said we were done, he completely ignored what I said and hung up the phone on me. This man is ridiculous and doesn't even remember where they did their work or have accurate files which is extremely concerning considering they have been in the business for 20 years. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Negative experience will not be using them to build my retaining walls. I had the exact same experience as Shakeela wrote in her review. Please read. Henry should not be quoting jobs his people skills are lacking. He told me he will not waste his time because I was not interested in the expensive designer brick retaining walls he wanted to build. He was my 3rd quote I had no one had any problems with what I wanted. He argued with me the whole time. So as he said to me I won't waste my time.

Sungreen Landscaping designed and constructed a gorgeous water feature in my backyard. They provided quality work as well as results. I am very satisfied with the land construction that was done, especially given the adverse weather conditions at times, and would readily recommend them to anyone looking to get their yard redesigned.
