We are fans of Sungiven and this is probably the best location. We live in Vancouver but we try to drop by this location when we are in the area. It is bright, clean and tidy. The hot food section is unbeatable. The quality of this Asian grocery chain and in particular this location was even more evident this visit as we were coming back from our short trip to Seattle. Just in time to stock up our food on the way back to our home in Vancouver.
This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I tried to buy grapes by weight, and because the bag was not sealed, I had every right to select the exact amount I needed and place them in a separate bag. The cashier outright denied me, which was completely unacceptable. Management must take immediate action—staff need proper training, and customers’ rights must be fully respected without exception.
Sungiven is a great alternative to T&T. While T&T stores are much larger, Sungiven manages to pack in the essentials and then some in a smaller store format. Fresh vegetables, organic tofu, exotic fruits, soy milk, all butter pound cake, frozen durian, jasmine rice, snacks, asian spices & noodles are some of regular items on my shopping list and the quality of products is always good.
Love this store. Interesting selection. Fresh produce.nWish the bakery was bigger. Can only get the sausage buns in the morning. Have never seen them in the evening…nParking can be a little tight, but at least it’s free.
Great little store!! Very nice ambiance. I enjoyed looking at the shelves of foods. Super clean and very well stocked. Polite sweet staff. Sale items are well priced.
