Great place to shop for groceries. I had a very pleasant experience there. The store was clean, well organized, and the produce looked very fresh. They offer a good variety of fruits, vegetables, and everyday grocery items at reasonable prices. The staff were also friendly and helpful, which made the shopping experience even better. Overall, it is a reliable place to find fresh groceries without spending too much.
Unfortunately there was fruit with mold being sold on the shelves. I tried to alert the staff member in the section, but they said to leave it Picture added. Sandwiches were very good though.
Big groceries store in Whalley area. Variety of of Asian foods- Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Halal meats etc. Price and freshness are fair. The customer service and security gentleman showed hospitality when we went there and was looking for the washroom. A place where you will find snacks and foods that can't be found in other places.nParking is easy.
I HAVE TO REPOST BECAUSE THEY KEEP TRYING TO REMOVE MY PREVIOUS.IF THEY ARE HONEST, WHY DO THEY NEED TO REMOVE MINE?!!!!!nI bought a pack of bread yesterday. This morning when I cut to make breakfast, a piece of blue thread sticking inside the bread. It is so disgusting. Just a bread so I don’t want to go back and forth there to complain. One more thing, I observed 2-3 times the short guy who wearing glasses in bakery section is so rude so I don’t want to come and talk with him either. But I want to post here to warn everybody the concern about hygiene at Lucky supermarket. I still have 4 breads left but I will throw them away and never buy bread here again!!!!
I usually shop here because the variety of produce and prices are great. But today I just had a horrible interaction with thier manager of the halal meat section. I picked up bittergourd yesterday and today was about to cook dinner but found it full of mold. So I returned it in store and also mentioned the black berries I picked yesterday had mold too. Thankfully I had an image because i had already tossed the item. I also brought the receipt of a brisket I had purchased a week before which also had gone bad I tried cooking it on the purchase date but it smelled horrible but did not have an image for that. The cashier was very sweet and had me pick out a new pack for the blackberry and gourd had to hunt bc they all had a bit of mold but then the halal meats manager was very rude about the brisket. He kept saying I should have taken a picture again and again even though I explained that day I had not thought of it we are all busy people. Today I did because this was a repeat offense of bad products. Then he said that brisket was bought a week ago, they don't know what happened and again I SHOULD have taken a picture. He needed to send a report with image, product weight, price etc. I get it, you need evidence, but it seemed he was blaming me for no evidence of thier bad product, with no apology about the product and the irony was I was there with evidence of a different bad product i brought the moldy gourd. All he had to do was, say politely, unfortunately they cannot refund/exchange it this time due to the lack of picture evidence, and apologize for the bad product and inconvenience/bad experience, instead of acting so rude. I could not understand this attitude when clearly quality control is failing in store. I mean they want us to return to shop right, or do they not care because I am just one customer. One person ruining my years of good experience shopping there.
