I really like this place, for that reason I uploaded 4 photos where my RV Fifthwheel appears to the shore of the lake. The view of the lake is so beautiful, with its large trees with different colored leaves. Everything I see around my RV fifthwheel I like. The tranquility of the place is priceless, far from the bustle and you can only hear the birds singing, I can see campers in different lots in the distance from me, I think they are permanently, but there is no movement and when we rarely see Some family, they are truly friendly. The leaves of the trees fall through the season and my batch of orange leaves fills, but even that I enjoy. When the time comes we will sweep them and enjoy doing it. Time and place for reflection and closer to God. I comment about what I see. This campground is very big, we have already walked, we walking around it and we have not known everything, I like to see the trees so tall and so beautiful and their colorful leaves, I like to hear the rustle of fallen leaves when I walk on they. Clean air is breathed, because the trees do their work. Thank God for this place and for this lovly space.

Ask not what can your country getaway do for you, ask what can you do for your country getaway!

It has a nice little private beach. Very wooded lots except for a few by the lake. The place has potential but it's rundown. The bathrooms without showers are really gross and the one with showers is just gross. It is a quiet place and is mostly seasonal people. Just bring your own bathroom...my boys used them and didn't complain but I stuck with my rv.

A nice, small, private, family owned and operated campground. The family\management seems nice enough and were quick to answer questions about the campground via email. Although, I would recommend they further develop/update their website to include more information about the campsite like the amenities, facilities, camp map, area stores, medical facilities, etc. so that prospective campers can do their research ahead of time. Overall, the sites are nicely wooded and secluded for the most part, you can see your neighbors, but they're not right on top of you. We stayed in the number 6 site, right along the lake with a nice canopy and layout to accommodate 15 people with 6 tents and parking for 6-8 vehicles. The small lake has a small beach roped off for swimming and has plenty of fish and some growth along the edges, but that's a minor hassle considering no fishing license is required. Some issues we felt need to be addressed are that fishing should be restricted from the swimming area, the access road requires some maintenance, the water and electric in the tent sites could be better designed for access/safety. The biggest fail are the bathroom/shower facilities which seem like they're only cleaned, at most, once/month and look like something straight out of a horror movie. Another rather large issue is that the site we stayed in had such extremely poor drainage that we had 3-6 inches of standing water during a storm as the site appeared to be the water collection area for all the runoff in the campground. As much as we would like to support the small businesses and mom n pop establishments, we will not be returning to this campsite. One other point is not so much for the campground as much as the guests who stay there and just an overall observation about the human condition: BE CONSIDERATE - people will be using the site after you so CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES (think minimal impact) and don't compromise the safety of others (e.g. breaking GLASS and not picking it up).
