I was apprehensive about seeing a male physiotherapist for an SI joint issue that has been bothering me for years. A trusted friend kept recommending Joe at Lifemark, and I am so happy I listened. Joe Koshman is who I and my aspiring NFL QB son can 100% recommend. He's smart and compassionate and wants to help his patients get back to enjoying their sports as quickly as possible. He understands how competitive athletes think. Joe provides quick and accurate diagnoses, followed by effective treatments and homework exercises for my son. He's a valued member of our athletic team who supports my son's dreams to train and play to his optimal performance level now in high school and hopefully in the big leagues someday.
Joe Koshman is an exceptional Physiotherapist. He’s the hidden gem in the Okotoks area. He treated all 3 of my girls over the last 1.5 years for sport injuries. It was critical times during their training. He worked within their training schedule and by committing 100% to his program, he had each girl back in their sports down to the exact amounts appointments his program required. They are not just out of pain, they are stronger and fitter. They continue to do the exercises he recommended and have remained healthy and pain free. He spoke genuinely to the kids and respected them as athletes. We highly recommend Joe to anyone needing Physio.
I have had mobility issues and soreness my shoulder for as long as I can remember and was of the belief that it was a symptom of 'getting older' that would simply have to be endured. After 3 appts with Joe K, I am good to go! He sourced the root of my issue to be in the neck, created an action plan and now all of the mobility in that shoulder has returned without any of the stiffness or pain. I am truly impressed with the progress he made in such a short period of time. I really appreciate his knowledge, focused attention and patience. Had I have known how incredibly helpful Joe was going to be, I would have booked him long ago. Would book again, without hesitation and have already recommended his service to others. I had a nagging back injury for awhile that I just couldn't get rid, but once I started working with Joe at Lifemark, it started to get much better. Along with my visits there and the exercises he gave me, I am happy to say I am pain free now. I would definitely recommend Joe Koshman, he just seemed to care a lot more than past therapists I had from previous clinics, but all in all, this clinic is very nice and has great therapists! 5 stars all-around!
If you're looking for the best therapeutic massage then you should go see Tyler Muir at this facility. He really knows his muscles and insertion points and he can find the ones that are giving you the most trouble! You won't leave disappointed. Physiotherapist Joe Koshman has helped me get better in the last year and a half from 2 MVA's. He keeps himself educated and up to date and keeps me motivated. The ladies at the front desk are all awesome. Very friendly and they're on top of your insurance and keep you up to date on that. Mostly, they put up with my chattiness!! This is a small facility but I think you get great one on one care.
I'm incredibly grateful for the care I have received in my physio treatments. I have been to see Bob for a few different issues, and value the time he takes to assess and then explain what's going and then provide effective treatment. Although I'm not an athlete, I enjoy being active and the treatments have helped me to gain strength so that I can do the things I love. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bob to my friends and family. Went to Life mark Sport in High River to repair a torn left shoulder muscle. Joe my therapist provided guidance and therapy treatments over a couple of months brining my should movement back to normal activities. I would highly recommend Joe should you need to have phyisio therapy support. Very knowledgeable in his profession.
Recently visited Joe for some surgery rehab for my son, I have also worked with him previously on my own injury recovery and would recommend him to anyone. Hands down one of the most personable and easy to work with physiotherapists I have ever met.
