Rooms were very clean and up to date, breakfast was homemade and fabulous. The staff was amazing. The 2 young men who took care of us at breakfast today were excellent and very friendly. Will stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
Very friendly staff, well furnished and decorated room. A much better breakfast than the standard breakfast bars. Convenient to central Ludington. Quiet, just a sweet spot to stay Rooms: Retro, neat and clean, good attention to details. It comes with a good breakfast, cooked and served on your schedule. A friendly and helpful staff. Nearby activities: Ludington is a small but historical town with lots of options for vacationers, as well as a car ferry to Wisconsin Walkability: Just a short distance to restaurants and bars, the lakefront, shopping, parks
Under-impressed after reading all the raving reviews and staying there. One of the reasons we booked this was the photos and raving reviews of the home made breakfasts, and wine tasting in the evening. There was neither. You can’t cancel for a refund less than 72 hrs before stay, and we received an email 24 hrs before “sorry, we won’t have breakfast for you, but there will be muffins and coffee”. We had a garden suite which was very clean, but it’s definitely a dated motel with uneven floors and a rose tub with a stained bottom. One washcloth for two people. On a bright note.... check in is easy. They ask your name and hand you a key. That’s it. Check out easy. Put your key in a bucket outside the door I honestly felt they wanted very minimal contact with guests. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable with a nice comforter. We shared our room with several flies which was annoying, however. Overall a fine place to rest your head for a night, but I felt almost $300/night was a bit much for what we got.
Xavier the host and chef was a fantastic aspect of our stay!! So personable and friendly with a great smile every time e saw him. Breakfasts were good and waitstaff lovely. As for the room itself, it smelled musty which made staying here very disappointing. It appears new wallpaper may have been put in but the musty smell remains. As a sufferer of allergies and asthma Summers Inn will not be on my recommendation list to others.
What a beautiful stay! Best one I had been on my whole trip! The room was spacious and beautiful. Small bathroom but it was a great shower! They have a secret garden right off the parking lot. Bed was comfortable and very clean! Highly recommend and I'd love to stay again! Also service was remarkable! Fantastic stay!Rooms: 5/5
We absolutely LOVED our stay here! Romantic, nice outdoor spaces for guests to relax on the property tucked - trees and wonderful atmosphere. Tiffany the owner is lovely… the homemade breakfast served m the beautiful main office space was delicious and served with love and care. Very clean and comfortable. Don’t miss this spot!Rooms: 5/5
WONDERFUL experience. The hotel is adults only, and kids have to be 16 or older, but we saw none. VERY quiet. Great Retro rooms with updates. Very attentive staff... tranquil setting. Nice nooks to sit and read. We were taking the SS Badger in the morning, and the hotel is just a few blocks away. Nice breakfast in a mid-century dining room. Would certainly stay there again and again.
The new management is outstanding!!! This place is freaking amazing!! We’ve stayed at Summer’s Inn several times over maybe 4-5 years, usually for our anniversary in the spring and for a get-a-way in the fall. There is so much to love about it, the location love Ludington, the unbelievably clean rooms, the delicious breakfasts and to die for coffee, the garden area and pond, the beds and bedding are so comfy, the decor is adorable and it’s just a great atmosphere. A bonus for us, no kids allowed. We have kids, we love kids, we’re here to not be around kids!! And let me tell you about the manager, Xavier, who came to meet me face to face this weekend. What an absolute pleasure!! Xavier helped me with some close to last minute rescheduling of our already booked anniversary weekend to another when work interrupted life and I still can’t thank him enough for helping my stressed out brain with that I wish I could remember the other staff members names, the young man that checked us in was fabulous and the sweet girl that brought is breakfast was just all smiles and so kind. Looking forward to our next visit!
We chose Summer’s Inn because of the good reviews and it advertises as a place to rest. We were very happy with our accommodations. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. We especially enjoyed the quiet park like setting with the koi pond and waterfall. Another bonus was the delicious freshly cooked breakfast. We would definitely recommend!
Ok so first off I thought I was booking a small bed and breakfast in a house so I was a little disappointed when we drove up. But I came inside to register and a super nice pretty lady welcomed us. The room was so cute and bright and they have a little garden out back that is lite with little lights and I'm in love and will definitely be here again.
