Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa

What a beautiful place this must have been. We really enjoyed our stay, but the main manor is showing its age. The rooms are nice and very clean, but the doors seem to amplify sound from the hall which there wasn’t much. The service was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The grounds are the highlight as they are expansive and full of activities like a pool, play structure, recreation trail, big chess, ski board…nThe included buffet breakfast had options for all and added great value to room rate.

We loved our brief stay at the Digby Pines. It’s a classic old resort with beautiful surroundings. We came very early and were able to check in, and enjoyed the grounds and pool. The rooms are a bit dated, but there isn’t much that could be changed in such an old design. In the morning we had a fabulous breakfast buffet that was included with our stay - no charge! I recommend the eggs Benedict. The staff were wonderful. We would gladly go again.

Stayed here for a wedding and we really enjoyed our time. Digby is a very cute town with lots to do. The Pines is a cool historic hotel with cabins to stay in, a park area with games for the kids, and a pool overlooking the water in the back.nnThe breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Eggs Benedict was a highlight from the breakfast.nnService was fantastic and we loved the bar areas and getting to know the bartenders.nnI especially loved the large chess board.

I’m posting this a bit late, but I have something to share.nnThe location is great, but the interior is absolutely terrible. It definitely needs a deep clean. The rooms were dirty and looked old-fashioned. I found multiple spider webs inside and dust everywhere in the room. They should invest in maintenance and cleaning to attract more tourists. The kind of place this resort is located in, and from what it looks like from the outside, the interior doesn’t do it justice. This was my first time here, but my experience would have been better if they took the upkeep more seriously.

We had a lovely stay at the Digby Pines resort with family this past week. The 2 bedroom cottages were comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The amenities could use some attention - the pool is closed for repairs, there's no fitness room and the spa didn't seem open. This hotel must have been incredible in its hay day and I appreciate the costs it must take to keep things running. We really enjoyed visiting a neibouring First Nations village called Bear River. Great coffee shop and beautiful art. The town was small but very beautiful.
