Summerland Campground & RV Park

We stayed there last year, the location was great, very short walk to the beach, dog beach and normal beach. Washrooms well were kept, the site attendant was a great guy. Neighbours were quiet, no highway noise, lots of shaded areas. My only issue was the reservation system wasn't as streamed lines as it could be. Will be staying there again this year, looking forward to it.

This is probably this biggest example of false advertising, we check in on the pool was working and not open, and the response I received was that they werent running it this summer, but that wasnt mentioned on the website! Also the trees in the pictures are now all dead!, the grass for the volleyball court is dirt now! The site had a broken water pipe in it, and the puddle was getting bigger and no response from the caretaker! Anyway, I recommend staying well away from this place!

Checked in on Sunday and a gentleman called Derrick was extremely welcoming and helpful. Made us feel right at home, and even offered to refreeze our cold packs in his freezer. The campground is small, quiet, and tucked away. The actual site had plenty of room for our larger tent and car. Recommend this place!

The management is very accommodating. If we needed anything they responded quickly. Our stay has been very peaceful here. All the dogs are well behaved and secured. The ambiance is neighborly. Rules are put in place for our own peace and quiet. Gates all around. Very secure. Definitely a great place to stay. Free wifi and basic cable.

Stayed here on a Friday night on a long weekend. Was passing through town and several phone calls later discovered all camping spots were filled for the weekend. Googled this little beauty and was told that they had several cancellations for the weekend. Yay me!! The friendliest and most accommodating of gentleman gave me a great deal on the fee and put me in a private little spot perfect for me and my little tent. And the crickets that sang all night were divine! The service and the helpfulness of this little gentleman would make me return again and again. Wish I would have asked for his name so I could put it in the review. But you know who you are. Thanks again for your kindness and helpfulness!!
