City of Penticton

Helpful staff in City Hall. A few free parking stalls close to the entrance on Main Street, but most street side stalls aren't metered in this area. Beautiful older building, built in the 60's style of that day. Great little park beside City Hall, with the Gyro bandshell, used by performers providing entertainment of one sort or another.

If you are doing a beach day at Penticton, there is a lot to see on the shoreline. Be sure and spend an hour or so in the Japanese Garden and partake of it's tranquility. This is a lovely garden, something that one would not normally expect to find this far north. It is well worth a walk thru, and a rest in, the lovely garden.
