Sudbury Secondary is a school that nurtures an atmosphere where students feel part of the scene...nThey identify with the many facets of education offered whether it's theatre arts , art itself, academia showing the various and numerous paths to a students future in every conceivable career out there.nThe moment you walk onto the school property you feel welcome by the students and the staff, all staff, sensing the positive , caring atmosphere. It truly is a special subset of the community , no wait...it is the community... promoted by all including students, staff, parents , employers, theatre, politicians, newcomers, past graduates and a vast number of Sudburians.nIT IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!

I can't speak more highly of this particular school. If you are looking for a place you can call home with amazing staff who truly care about their students, then this is the place for you. Having gone to another school prior to attending SSS, I know how different high school life can be.nnSudbury Secondary was an absolute blast. If you are into the ARTS - music instrumental, vocal, theatre, dance, media, or visual art - there is simply no other place better. Every teacher there arts and not made me want to come to school every day.nnIt's a place where you can be yourself and find your people and your passion, while developing some very crucial life skills and self esteem. SSS excels in academics and arts, has a great french immersion program and has some very competitive sports teams. There is always a lot going on at the school.nnI think the fact that a good portion of the school's faculty are SSS graduates speaks for itself! Give the school a try - you will NOT regret it!

As a graduate of Sudbury Secondary I can’t express enough how much this school, its programming and faculty meant to me in my formative years, and still today.nnSSS provided a space for everyone. Athletes, academics, arts students and everyone in between. The school has a long history of inclusivity, making it a place where students feel supported, included and celebrated.nnHaving access to an arts program is a genuine gift that cannot be understated. These programs not only nurture the growth of the students who are directly enrolled in arts classes, they enrich the experiences of all students. Through performances, workshops, competitions, and exhibitions, students are provided unique experiences they may not otherwise have had access to.nnThe faculty consistently went above and beyond. They genuinely cared about our success on the stage, in the classroom, on the field and in life. They say a great teacher can change your life, and we were surrounded by folks who were determined to prove that to be true.nnI look back on my time here often, and wonder how it is I got so lucky. Very grateful for this place and the people who make it so extraordinary.

Amazing school, filled with opportunities for youth to discover their talents, goals and strengths. Sudbury Secondary School has helped so many youth find their voice, build their self esteem and push towards a bright future. The Arts program is one of a kind, with talented and passionate teachers/mentors. Opportunities for extra curricular activities to further develop talents and passions. Highly recommend attending this school if you can.

This school I can honestly say was my home. I switched from another school half way through grade 10 and was accepted almost instantly walking in. Walking into those doors made me feel home, the school is the most accepting school i have ever been to. I graduated in January 2017 and it was the most bittersweet feeling ever. Once a North Star always a North Star!
